Centrally located hotel in Alicante city. Friendly staff on reception. Rooms are basic but have all you need for a good nights sleep including functioning comfortable bed, wifi and air con. Lots of local bars and restaurants near by and short walk to seafront including beach.

Friendly 24 hour staff. Rooms have exactly what you need for a holiday where you don'5t want to spend much time in the hotel. Comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, excellent Wifi and effective air conditioning

Good spot, right in the centre, friendly staff, clean rooms, only one issue, noise from outside and adjoining rooms. Poor acoustic. But still enjoy my stay. I will be back.
3 min walk to the main strip and lots of shops / restaurants close by.

We stayed here on summer holiday. It was quite a bargain. The staff was very friendly even though they didn't really speak English. It is quite a loud hotel, since it is located in the city center. The airconditioning was old and was leaking, which was kind of annoying. The beds were made and towels were changed everyday, which was great.

I have just returned from another stay at the Hotel San Remo. I stayed from the 5th to the 12th December in room 502 which was a corner room with a double bed and a single bed. Again, the room had a TV, bathroom and air conditioning. As it was a corner room it also had a balcony.
The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and reception is manned 24 hours a day.
On previous visits I had taken my own hairdryer, but I forgot this time, however reception does has them available, so more room in my hand luggage for future visits!
At the weekend the street outside is noisy. This was no problem for me as I was generally in the bars until closing time anyway, however someone across the road has two dogs which bark incessantly at all hours. I found this to be more of an issue on this visit than anything else.
If you are visiting Alicante and need somewhere central to sleep and have a shower, this place is perfect. It isn't five star accommodation, but it doesn't say it is. You will get a comfortable bed with clean sheets and towels and a room that is cleaned daily. Unfortunately I won't be returning for a fifth visit in March, simply because there is no availability...
