This is a value for money hotel in an excellent location. We were initially very disappointed as we had requested a room on a high floor and had paid for a balcony. We were allocated a disabled room on the ground floor! The terrace wasn't even furnished and had a view of railings and a wall. It was like a prison, dark and claustrophobic. On opening the wardrobe I found four hangers. Obviously this room was not designed for a couple staying for 14 nights. After a lengthy discussion with the receptionist the next morning we agreed to pay 110 euros in cash, credit card not accepted, to upgrade to a sea view room on the 5th floor. What a difference! The view was spectacular and there was a large balcony with 2 chairs. The room and the bathroom were very dated, but clean, comfortable and functional. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the restaurant staff who all looked after us very well. We quickly found the hotel bar which is frequented by locals and spent a lot of time there. Great food and drink at great prices and superb staff. The only downside to our stay was the lukewarm or even cold food in the restaurant. It was such a shame as there was good quality and variety, for dinner anyway. It could so easily be fixed by providing hot plates and a microwave for the use of diners, as we have experienced in other buffet restaurants. If you want a late checkout it costs 50 euros and they want this in cash. Luckily they let us settle our bar bill with a credit card! I would recommend this hotel if you can get it for a good price and if you are prepared to pay for a sea view.

The hotel itself is good place to stay, clean, with quite good food in the restaurant. You only should be careful about the choice of a room - we've received the one with the view on the space closed by walls of the hotel, so there was no sun at all, it was not a problem for us, since we've only slept there, but it’s worth noting. If you want to get to the beach you must walk a lot of stairs, which can be a problem and the city is not close, so it's rather a place for young, healthy people.
There are also tracks on on the other side of a fence, so trains make a significant noise sometimes.
An amazing advantage is a cafe downstairs - you have to check the Cannolo Siciliano and small, tasty pistachio cakes.

This hotel must be on a high-end of its official rating - staying here was such a delight. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, while the rooms are spotless clean and kept very tidy on a daily basis. The private sandy beach is nearby - it is equally neat - sandy, clean shallow waters with small fish swimming around; it is of note that the sunbeds and parasols are free of charge - just bring your own towels. Wide promenade along the sea takes you to the lovely town of Cefalu, less than two kilometers away - its old town offers an authentic Sicilian atmosphere, with numerous souvenir and pastry shops, places to wine and dine, in the afternoon or in the evenings. If you chose this location, you should not miss a day trip to Etna, Taormina and the village, where certain scenes from The Godfather 1 have been shot at the time - a thrilling visit for the devotees of this epic movie trilogy. Hotel rooms have safety deposit boxes that are also free of charge; wi-fi was supposed to be available at the reception only, but it actually worked in most of the rooms too. This was an exquisite way to get the feel of the picturesque Sicily and its unique charm - stay in this hotel has elevated the experience, as it was such a pleasant surprise.

I went to vacation with girlfriend and absolutely loved it! Food was very various and delicious. Every meal was different, from sea food, to pizza and pasta and great deserts. Stuff was very polite and hard working, especially the Animation team. They came up with new ideas and games every day. Also, every night there was some kind of 'disco' by the pool, but it lasted until midnight (which I think is fair). Our room had a sea and city view, it was magnificent. All in all, much better than expectations we had when we came. I would recommend it for everyone who wants to see beautiful cities, but also have a good rest. The air is very nice also.

This hotel offers great value for the money in Cefalu. First i have to say that the people working here are so nice and friendly and making sure that you feel at home. Hotel is clean, rooms are clean, simple and neat. The position is actually perfect, you are close to downtown, but at the same time you are not at the center, which gives you some sense of freedom and privacy, because cefalu is really crowded. Restaurant offers tasty food. You have a parking, and also hotel can provide you a great local rent a car service... We had a really great time here. All the best to the crew, room 601
