I always love Santika. The room, cleanliness, kind staff, good food, and most of it strategically located. And yes, this one too. It's not so far from the city center, but I don't say it's near enough. I was here at early 2015.
Pros: This is Santika, good food, nice staff, the food fits my taste, i found a good pempek across the road. Haha.
Cons: It's not near enough from the city center.

Stayed two night in the hotel during the Chinese New Year. It has a good design but not very well maintained, also far from the city center. The room is quite spacious but noisy as you could hear the sound from the hallway, the breakfast needs more variety especially they should provide better coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful though. An ok hotel but not something that I look forward to coming back to..

General, I am fine with this hotel other than 2 things. First, the hotel should upkeep its facilities better. The room is rather torn down in certain parts. Without proper maintenance, the hotel will soon fall under below par.
Secondly, please make sure that you don't book the hotel facing a wall. It's just horrible that my room's windows are facing literally the wall. It's a room with a wall view.

Santika hotel located near airport and in front of Novotel, Hypermart and Karaoke place. Room big enough, but bed cover and bed sheet dirty. Breakfast standard, not to much variety of foods. Overall this hotel was Okay, need replacement for bed sheet/ bed cover.

1 night stayed at this hotel during my 3rd visit to Bangka. When I enter the hotel lobby it was expected that I will get the room as 4 start hotel, but I felt that the hotel is very old when I enter the room, the floor without carpet, and not so clean toilet (or may be due to old look), and without towel available in the room, and the internet connection is poor, I can't open my email in that time. The good thing for this hotel is the location and also breakfast menu. There are a lot of option for your breakfast with good taste.
