The hotel is nice and all but somehow, something is missing. Please don't come to this hotel expecting good food. The room we stayed in had less lights. Bed is bad. At last, is only good for 1 night stay.

Everything was good
Rooms were very clean
Food was also good. Excellent room service and staff.
Will definitely look forward to stay again and will also recommend to my relatives and friends.

Best View From room.U can see Full Shimla valley from bed itself.
BUT
1 day stay is bearable. :(
Food are not good.
Not feeling good in the hotel.. :(

I never refer this hotel to any one. The hotel was good but its customer dealing too bad they never know how to talk, dinner closing time is 10:30 and i order almost 10:05 they told me very rudely 'jo order krna hai kr lo 10:30 ke baad order mat krna' with bad expression. But room service is good.

We started from Delhi and were welcomed by worst (or say best for us) snow storm in the history of Shimla. Luckily our bus driver knew the place and it is on the way to Shimla bus deport so he stopped near hotel...hotel staff was nice to open the hotel at about 5:00 in morning and give us blanket in the seating area. We had a nice valley facing room had a great view. There was no electricity in entire Shimla but hotel staff personally provided warm water for morning bath to everybody. They even managed to cook for everybody and provided all the meals without any compromise. Mr. Meher Singh and his partner are the heart of this hotel and they really take good care of food and dining area. I have seen many college students from other states and enjoying their food and stay here so thumbs up for people want to come in a group as stay and food is great.
They are Himachali people so they talk straight without any butter which might look bit strange but their honesty takes few hours to sink in.
Pros: Good view, excellent food, good management, costs less
Cons: It is bit far from Mall area...for tourists Shimla itself is only mall area so if you are coming for one night just stay near mall area or stay here and visit kufri and other nearby places.
