Not a bad place...OK rooms, clean enough, decent wifi, and great location to walk to beach, temple or around town. Beach front not too impressive with big concrete pipes and battered restaurant, but I know they got slammed by a cyclone not long ago. The breakfast buffet was marginal, at best.

The pics posted in the website of Cleartrip are of that of a nearby hotel owned by the sane group. What we ended up was a small complex with around 6 conjusred blocks in a small space. There is no restaurant, no parking space, no internet. Inside the room there is no phone and no windows. No swimming pool as described in Cleartrip....no beach access too.

I usually plan retreats with friends on a quarterly basis and we have always loved to come back here. The ambience, spacious rooms, proximity to the beach and Shore temple, both within a 2 min walk and not to forget excellent service of the waiting staff are definitely things that work in favor of the establishment. A large swimming pool and a big open space in front of the beach for team events are further benefits for visitors. One thing Sea breeze could work on is the quality of their food arrangements - they should really look to improve the variety of their menu as well as availability. Overall, this is a place I would blindly recommend to an average budget traveller, rooms are quite appropriately priced and available at short notice! If you are in Mahabalipuram for a day or two, this is definitely a place to stay and explore the shore town without much of travelling around!

This is the third time I went here in the span of three years. We spoke to the guy at the reception and wanted a room for 3 for two nights. He made us enter our details on the register book that he has in a PENCIL. I was wondering why. But whatever. We check-in, leave our bags and off we go sight seeing (my friends are new to mahabs) and come back late in night and crash. The next day when we were out and we get a call from the reception saying our bags have been kept out. WHATTTT!!!!. We rush back to find that indeed our bags have been kept at the reception. When checked, the reception guy tells us that its time for us to check out!!!! Confused, I ask him why and he shows me the register book where our checkout date of tomorrow has been erased and changed to today. OMG!! After a lot of heated argument and couple of phone calls, the guy at the reception tells me that there is a room available at "Hotel Pallava Dynasty" and he could put us there. Since we didnt have much of a choice and was messing up our day and vacation, we said OK to move into this another hotel. Please read my review on "Hotel Pallava Dynasty" to know what nightmare was waiting for us.

I had been to dis place and stayed for 3 nights. i had opted fr sea facing rooms and was not worth... the only good thing about this place is the food was gud and the beach can be easily accessible...
