We stayed here in November of 2017. It is a small hotel with about 4 floors I believe. When we first got to our room, I noticed a slight smell of old and sitting water. Once I realized it was coming from the bathroom, I closed the bathroom door and didn't smell it again. Our room was small and a bit run down. The furniture is also very old and outdated. Since we were only staying for a night, I didn't bother complaining. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's centrally located to everything. Considering the hotel was very cheap, and location was excellent, I would say it's average hotel but I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently & had a wonderful time. The hotel is situated very close to the station & right in the heart of the town. Step out of the hotel & you are in the midst of everything! The staff on reception are very friendly & always smiling!
The breakfast was good with gluten free options & looked after by a very nice lady who was very diligent in keeping everything well stocked. She even heated my soy milk up for me without asking after my first request.
The rooms were small - but very clean & this is Italy - you don't go there to sit in your room. We had a view of the Duomo & the mountains - depending on which way you looked with your head out of the window. We also took the train to Siena for the day - highly recommended as it is spectacular. We would definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Firenze!

Location is about 10mins walk from the train station. But along the way, it can get pretty intimidating if it’s your first time in Florence.
Room was smaller than expected, we were greeted with a lose connection from their cable to the TV set, WIFI connection was weak or not available at all. The telephone was not working and when we informed them, they told us that they are actually aware of it....!!!
Only consolation I have, the breakfast lady was nice and allowed me to bring breakfast back to the room.

It is 10 minutes walk from the Firenze SMN station. The hotel is in a good location and it's only 10-15 minutes walk to the city center. Breakfast was good with a small selection. Wifi was as good as the hotel's amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Overall, it was a good stay and I'd recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2017, which was my second time as a guest in the hotel (first was in September 2013). I wasn't very keen on staying a second time, as my experience the first time around wasn't fantastic, but it was cheap and comfortable, so why not. The hotel has renovated most of its rooms, and this resulted in an entirely different experience to the one I had 4 years ago. Firstly, the rooms have air conditioning, which was an absolute blessing in the Italian summer, which was nudging 40 degrees. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and looking out over the Via Nazionale was perfection. The fresh fruit basket was also a lovely touch! Breakfast was delicious and there was lots to choose from. The staff are all very friendly and willing to assist, and the location is unbeatable - right near the train station and very central to everything Florence has to offer. The hotel is also located right near the best pizzeria and best gelateria in all of Florence - Pizzeria Bondi, and Gelateria Bondi. Unmissable!!!
