It looked so good but failed to deliver
PHILL Non 03/10/2017 09:36We stayed in a nice room on the 6th Floor overlooking the street. We parked for 18Euro across the roundabout at Santo Domingo, the hotel has cheaper parking but very tight spaces apparently. The Hotel has no bar area and only a restaurant.
The room was great with a separate toilet and bathroom and the bed was comfortable.
However the air conditioning was inadequate and opening the windows was very noisy through the night. Coupled with the fact that the shutters were impossible to fully retract meant we had a bad night's sleep.
We were travelling with 3 other couples and all had a similar experience.
Shame as it's nice looking hotel.
Lovely hotel, excellent location
John Mon 15/09/2017 11:14This hotel has a wonderful location in the bustling downtown center of Leon, next to the historic district, less than 15 minutes walking from either the bus or train stations. Rooms are large and comfortable, the hotel has beautiful modern art decoration in the public spaces and rooms. The only complaint about the room is the sliding glass door to the shower/sink which allowed my daughter to see more than she preferred of her father. The beds were comfy and I appreciated the option of normal pillows.
If you wish to avoid the convenience and cost of parking at the hotel you can park in the large surface lot next to the park and river, about a ten minute walk away from the hotel. That will cost less than 3 euros a day.

dafamily2016on 06/09/2017 17:32Although it was a bit chilly overall, the reception and overall hospitality at the hotel was superb and worth it. There are other great hotels in this town but this one stands out. We stayed here for three days and loved every bit of it.
Good location, good breakfast
TerryH30on 31/07/2017 10:07I stayed in Leon one night and this was a great base. It was across the road from the old town and a 5 minute walk to leon cathedral. There are loads of options for eating nearby. You have to see the stained glass windows in the cathedral when in Leon! The room had a fairly hard bed and very old television. It also had a big structural pillar in the bathroom that made things quite awkward.

Rooms very adequate clean and comfortable. Bathroom separate from toilet, a plus.
Breakfast included involves a sumptuous buffet with strong coffee and fresh breads.
Staff courteous and helpful. Many restaurants nearby
