Godly Place you can cool your mind here. If you are certainly a devotee of Swami Samarth then you should visit this place even 3 hrs would be then less for you. There are overall 3-4 places where you should visit before entering the temple. 1) The Khandoba Temple where Swamiji First Resided. 2) House and Temple where he stayed with the family. 3) Main temple at last. In the main temple there is Swamijis Moorti and then the Paduka. You would see a Huge Audumbar Temple there which is more than 100 years old. You can also sit inside the Temple if you plan to read some books. If you plan to stay in Akkalkot the sanstha has lodging facility which is just opposite to the Temple. Please note it has minimum facility so don't expect much from the facility. Please take a car from Solapur to Akkalkot its around 40 kms from there. Local Transport is also there but having your own car just makes sense. Food you will find on the streets, most of the people would also go to Gandgapur so start early in the morning so you take Darshan of Akkalkot and then by 11 am you can move towards your onwards journey to Gandgapur. From here a separate road goes to Tuljapur if you want to visit Tulja Bhavani temple. Please note the roads to Tuljapur and Gandgapur are not that great so expect a bumpy ride ahead. Since you are on religious destination avoid carrying heavy bags as most of your time would be spent in the temple. Taking photos is a total "No" so avoid carrying a camera in the Temple. You can visit Akkalkot anytime of the year, but book in advance if you are travelling by train as the bookings are always full for trains and in Hotels

Shivparvati is a well known hotel in Sholapur. The hotel is pretty old, yet is clean and well maintained. The hotel has an restaurant with authentic local food. The staff are friendly. Takes 10 mins from Bus stop and railway station and if you are a foodie there are many decent eateries with in walkable distance from hotel.

Hotel ShivParvati is one of the renowned names in Solapur. Situated at a distance of around 2-3 km from the railway station, the hotel is in one of the commercial hearts of the city (Lucky Chowk). The rooms are airy and clean, with good maintenance. What I liked particularly about this hotel is the "utility tray" which they offer to guests, which contains soaps, shampoo, oil, etc. The restaurant is attached to the hotel on the ground floor, which serves hot and fresh food. We loved the Medu Wadas there (a generous 4 pieces in 1 plate). The staff is well mannered and helpful. The ambience of the hotel, a small garden upstairs, a large pooja room with idols of Shiva & Parvati are worth seeing. Good value for money overall.
