This restaurant located in Apte road is famous for its unlimited Maharashtrian vegetarian thali.The thali consists of various items like savouries, vegetables, lentils, koshimbir, puris, chapatti, rice, papad , pickles n dessert.Every item is tasty n is typically Maharashtrian style.The service is good but has to be a little faster.Its very crowded on weekends.So the early bird catches the worm.go early to get parking space n seating space.Enjoy

This hotel has been offering a Maharashtrian Thali for past 30 to 40 years. They have been maintaining a consistent quality and taste that long and hence it is popular among the Puneites. It is a sumptuous thali with 3 vegetables, soup, dal, tak, koshimbir, papad, chapati, puri, fried rice, simple rice and what not !! One can not simply eat as much. They offer unlimited quantity in the price they charge, though quite high. You have choice of sweets. This is a food extravaganza.
The ambiance is good and the waiters are quite courteous. The only problem is, for the seating capacity it has; the bookings for food is quite high. This finally leads to a long waiting time (even 1~11/2 hr.) for your turn. There is no proper waiting hall either. If you have a short time in Pune or a short food break during office hrs.; then this is certainly on the place. It is for those who make a program to take food here.

Would arguably be one of the best Maharashtrian Thalis in the country if not in the planet - a place worth driving a 100 miles just to eat - think this says it all - The Tomato Saar - Aluchi Paatal Bhaji - Koshimbir and Batatachi Suki bhaji is legendary - remarkable consistency of awesome quality over the years -

TThe property is located in a very good location in Deccan Gymkhana and away from the main road and is very peaceful. The ambience and the roods are really good. GREAT MAHARASTIAN LUNCH. On the negative side, hot water should be avaialble 24 hours and lift should work for 24 hours

Very good. Location is good. Very near to Pune central place i.e. Deccan Gymkhana, JM Road and FC Road. Room service is good. Rates are reasonable considering breakfast and dinner inclusive.As the rooms are away from main roads there is no disturbance
