This hotel is perfectly situated to access shops, restaurants and the Gateway of India. Breakfast is varied and restaurant staff are attentive. Laundry service was interesting! They mixed up our two rooms so we had to sort it ourselves while a member of staff hung about waiting for us to sign his forms. A tee shirt was lost, and although we were promised that it would be sent on to our next hotel, it never happened. However, the elevator staff and reception ladies were extremely courteous.

Hotel Subha Palace is walking distance from some of Mumbai's greatest sights, including the Gateway of India, ferry to Elephanta Island, Taj hotel, Chhatrapati Shivaji museum, Colaba market, National Gallery of Modern Art, etc. There are also several very nice restaurants located on the same street, which is great when you're exhausted after a day of sightseeing and do not want to go far for dinner plans. I stayed at Subha with my father for three nights and we had a great experience. The staff was very attentive and friendly.The hotel picked us up from and dropped us off at the airport, breakfast was included and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Great location for a lot of the sights. Newly modernised on a quite side street. Friendly helpful staff. Room was a bit small,shower water pressure and temp just about acceptable. Noisy ac bit at least it and fans worked. WiFi was free but very slow on occasion. Limited public space. Breakfast was good. We left for airport before breakfast started and staff made up food for us. Clean hotel.
Would staff again as a fraction of the cost of nearby taj,etc

We recently stayed a night in this lovely hotel and have nothing but good things to say about it.Great location,caring staff,clean room and a truly wonderful breakfast.It's well priced considering the location and staff go out of their way to help.We would surely stay a bit longer the next time we visit Mumbai!

Location is good. It is near "Gateway of India" , "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya". The hotel staff are very helpful. Breakfast is ok.
Negative point ,the water pressure of the shower is weak.
