We had one night in Santo Domingo before catching a morning flight. The young man at the desk was gracious and helpful and they were flexible about giving us an early breakfast. The place was very secure, the room was basic but clean and the mattress was fine. It was quiet and relaxed and just what we needed for a moderate price. By the way, It's an easy walk of a few blocks from Cathedral Square.

My husband and I stayed for one night and it was absolutley convenient, could walk around the colonial zone, no problem, close to bars and reataurants. The room is the smallest we have ever stayed at but it had everything we needed! The really bad thing was the AC making a noise all night.
One really down point was when we went to check out, they wanted us to pay for breakfast. We had booked with breakfast included and that was a bit of a sour taste to such a lovely stay. We found it quite odd when we went for breakfast that we werent asked what we would like, instead everything was just served no questions asked. But overall nice place to spend a night or two.

Even though I booked long time in advance I was offer a room without window.
I ask for another on and revived on to the backyard, just near the kitchen. As the room did not provide any curtains I saw the flickering of the television the whole night. The air condition was repaired 2 times and still did not worked. During the time it worked it was loud.The fan was noisy The water pump was on till late night and started again in the early morning.
The WIFI worked outside the rooms. Inside the reception was very weak.
I did not sleep but had to pay 70 USD for a horrible night in a tiny 9 square meter cavern.
There seem to be better rooms on the first floor, but I did not saw them.
Even though a small breakfast is included, the location is good, the rooms are clean and the staff was very comprehensive, friendly and helpful, I definitely I will not come back to try again another night. For this price I expect a better quality.

We stayed here a few days before we visited the mountains, and then again on our return to the city. The location is really ideal - in the heart of the colonial city, with all the historical attractions (like the Alcazar Columbus) in easy walking distance; and yet the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Best of all, Carlos and Julio and Williams and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is not a boutique luxury hotel (there are some nearby) but we'd much rather stay here than in those fancy expensive places.

I stayed at this Bed and breakfast conveniently located in the heart of the city and close to many attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious and in good condition. The "A" team will take great care of you, Carlitos, Sandra, Margot and Julio (July) are supper attentive and accommodating. I will definitely stay there on my next visit and will recommend to all.
Thank you for making my stay very enjoyable and relaxing.
