This is a cheaper alternative to the Legoland Resort Hotel and is just a few hundred meters from Legoland and Lalandia. A smart deal booked long in advance made the trip to Billund/Denmark affordable for visiting Legoland and Lalandia.
The rooms are ok but nothing special.Breakfast is above average but dinner is very expensive compared to what you get. Also the receptionists could improve their servicemindfulness.

There are a limited no of hotels in Billund.
This clearly shows in the basic room quality of this hotel. Value for money vs other hotels is very low. Not dirty ....just not very high standard...espevially compared to international standards...

Friendly, flexible and competent staff made booking and check in a pleasure. Upgraded to a junior suite which was large and and comfortable and had a bubble bath but somewhat close to noisy road. For silence pick room further away from street.
Welcome drink and 3 course dinner included in our stay. Considering very reasonable price, was thoroughly impressed by quality of food and service and consideration of my pregnant partner (offered to adapt menu) and our 2y old - a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Vine/drinks are expensive. Breakfast was ok. Staff was great and made the difference.

We came July 25th about the middle of the night and it was so hot. There was no air-conditioning, and there was also no fans. I opened the windows and the door to the outside, but there's absolutely no air circulations at all! It was quite miserable.
The hotel is not just one building. There are smaller buildings in the same property. The room was fine really very nice and clean, but it was HOT and humid.
Also there's no cart/trolley for your luggage. They don't even bother asking if you needed help with your luggage. When I asked for a trolley, they just said, we don't have any. So not much warm fuzzy customer service. Tough for you. Figure it out yourself.
The location is super close to Legoland so that's very nice.
And the breakfast in the morning was very nice as well. We were stuffed.
I've stayed in lots of hotels, of 2-5 stars, and I expected a little more friendliness or at least apologetic tone about not having trolley and can I help you, and sorry we don't usually need air-conditioning. They could probably be more friendly especially with guests that came from a different continent arriving with small children in the middle of the night. I'm used to being pampered. You just gotta tough it out in Billund, I guess.
Would probably try other places before staying here again. But it's clean and nice enough, just don't expect friendliness.

We stayed here for three nights. Our biggest gripe was with the restaurant staff. The only food available was a buffet, which was overpriced. Staff routinely delivered unasked-for bottles of sparkling water with drinks, which were billed for even if we asked for them to be removed. It proved difficult to get them removed from the final bill. We observed this happening systematically across all tables, with additional bottles of wine delivered to larger groups. This is not an uncommon practice in hotels but the faux apologies don't make it OK. There are few other dining options nearby so it's a captive market.
The rooms are poorly lit and bare, although the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
