Dirty, and unfriendly people, 5 days i'll never come back, better look for other hotel, poor breakfast, dirty swimmingpool ... and finally you can be robed because when they clan they don close te Door ... te worst

This was the second time I ve been staying at Hotel Terme Belvedere and I noticed few changes in the way they manage it and approach the customer.
I cannot say they were rude but for example I felt a bit uncomfortable during the check in, which sounded more like a personal screening. Again I was surprised when I was asked to help myself looking for the soft drink I wanted in the fridge, even if there was a person not busy serving on the bar.
Then, you cannot have snacks on the bar out of restaurant hours.
Technical staff work on the swimming pools without paying attention to you but I think it is not really relevant as far as the facilities are well kept and brand new.
Two stars in the fog: the receptionist, still a apprentice but with a really sharp attention to details and the kitchen and dining room staff always smiley and kind.
In addition what made our stay really heavy was that: I spotted a deal on a travel partner website and when I booked an economy room I had clear that what I took was an absolutely incredible value for money offer.
When we arrived there we asked for a few ancillary services we would have paid for and this was the moment we felt completely disappointed.
The air conditioning is a feature not included in the economy room and, understanding this, we would have been happy to pay separately for it. But it was not possible.
Being the air conditioning the only characteristic that distinguishes an economy room from a deluxe room (basically the rooms are all the same but they are called economy if the air con is off and deluxe if it is on) we would have had to pay more than the price of our whole stay again just to add the air con, as they consider it like you are upgrading the room...
What a really hot nights we had!!!
As I said it was my second stay here but the first one was a lot better and I think that this family business is unfortunately loosing a bit of flow as time and a new management generation went on.

-the staff is very, cordial, friendly and helpful
-the rooms are clean
-it is possible to order a tranfer to/from the hotel to/from the airport and it is cheap
-the food (breakfast) is good ( cheese, sausage, boiled eggs,yoghurt, fresh pies, ect)
-the location of the hotel is very convenient if you want to travel to other towns -Padova,Montegrotto, ect. it is 3 minutes away from the bus stop. the bus service is good and the tickets are sold nearby.
-there is a large supermarket -Despar, besides there are small shops where you can buy food and clothes, there is a market once a week,then a bar with the menu even in Russian. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel! ...there is also a police station next to the hotel so order and security are garanteed.
-in Abano Terme not far from the hotel there is a travel agency where you can book excusions to Padova, Venice, Chioggia, ect .( excusions are in several languages - English, German and French) there are excusions in Russian, but they are expensive a bit
If you aim to stay at a hotel all the time and eat day and night instead of travelling and see beautiful sights of Italian towns, this hotel is not for you.

So, we did not realize we had to go 30 minutes outside of the city centre to get here - it was quite a journey!! The hotel was very nice though, there was a salt water pool, and the breakfast they provided for free was HUGE. I mean, seriously - cheese, meat, buns, cereal, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee, tea, biscotti, crackers, 10 jams, nutella, and a variety of sweet pastries. A+ on the breakfast!! Plus, this is a resort town so there were 20 bars in the nearby area, and we only found one place to actually purchase dinner from. It was delicious, but there was not really a choice of restaurants in the area!
