Overall a nice experience, hassle free check-in and check-out. Rooms were clean and quite spacious, thumbs-up for that, however, there was seepage in both the rooms we got and a unpleasant smell, which compromised the experience. Even the hotel entry- near gate had foul smell.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent.

The hotel was an absolute non starter for one of the functions we planned as part of the wedding celebrations. They have no consistent policy regarding serving alcohol from outside and ensured we were kept hanging - we were initially told that we could serve (partly) liquor from outside; after our invitation cards got printed we were told this is not possible and just a day before the event (literally a day!) we were asked to procure the required alcohol ourselves from outside. Their justification based on liquor licencing was absolutely inconsistent with these actions. Initially decor was finalised as part of the package but later on they showed it as an extra amount - this amount was subsequently not paid because of the earlier agreement.
They lack professionalism and are extremely high handed in their approach - discussing decor, arrangements, food menu, cleanliness is very taxing and one is made to feel obliged for the same.

It's a very good hotel.
The cleaning is up to the standard.
Breakfast needs more variety
Pool needs maintenance.
Staff friendly.
Cash back should be provided due to the location of the property (a bit isolated)
Electricity shut down are often.

This is one hotel that stands far off from the main city amid upcoming residential developmemts. The Solitaire will catch your attention right from the road leading to it, and the beauty is not limited to its exterior facade but even the interiors are marvellously done.
The hotel is a good breakpoint for those who are on way to Haridwar, however it is of no help to those travelling to Raipur, Mussoorie and beyond, since it is completely out of the way, and that's the only hitch (even for the locals who intend to organize parties here).
Not only for hotel stay, but Solitaire is even good for organizing parties, which are usually arranged in their pool area.
Their restaurant, Emerald Court is equally good which offers variegated meals and cuisines and all prepared to perfection. The only issue with their restaurant is their cleanliness , and this is the only part of hotel which had cleanliness issues.
Except for the loction, it is a good place to stay/halt in Dehradun.

Very good amenities available here. , in the solitaire hotel facility is very Good. Location is very gooooood. Staff in the solitaire hotel is very cooperative and decent. Supportive. Cleanliness is very good
