Thoughts noted as bullet points below.
- I didn't chose the hotel; had to stay coz there as i was a part of the group.
- Size of room is pretty big. Way more than Standard Size.
- Great value for money ($35 inclusive of taxes)
- Their restaurant downstairs is famous for sea food (Mangalorean style) but we - being vegetarians - can rate the food we sampled as ~6/10
- The hotel service was top notch. Every call was answered promptly and service was provided within few mins . Restaurant Service was ordinary (due to great demand for their sea-food delicacies)
- Hygiene was not too bad; can't expect more for the cost i paid

Tom's is a hotel that caters to a mangalorean audience. They have rooms as well as a great restaurant. It isn't fancy mind you, but the food and service hit the right spot!
Their sea food selection is amazing. Mussels, prawns, squid, fish and of course there's the meat... pork, chicken, buff, mutton and all so so so well prepared! The best discovery I made in Bangalore and I'd like to thank TA for it. I had the most superb meal I've had in a long time here. Alcohol is not served mind, but the food is exemplary! Warning - the food is spicy!!

Great place to stay. Very spacious rooms with great view. Clean with all facilities. Superb Mangalorean food making stay very homely. Good wifi and nice delicious breakfast. Really cheap going by the offers.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February and were delighted. The staff are consummate professionals and were extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our room was large and bright with a very nice bathroom. The buffet breakfast in the pleasant restaurant was included in the price, and we also ate other meals here. Every aspect of the place is excellent, including value for money; all in all we would highly recommend this hotel - as good as any we have experienced in over 25 trips to India!

Those who like Mangalorean dishes, this will be the right place in Bangalore. Good food & serve beef and pork also. Cost for 2 - 300 - 400 max for an average. A must visit for a foodie. Parking is a small issue.
