This is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. It is very clean with a restaurant that has a vast variety of food that caters for every taste.....The views from the bedroom was stunning. My wife and I had the most relaxing holiday that we have had for many years. There is always some form of entertainment every evening if you want it, I must say it was great fun with the different themes that was offered. The main street for the town starts as you leave the hotel grounds. We say a big thank you to all the staff that made our holiday so enjoyable and happy.......Well done Caleta Palace..

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It was lovely, very clean and the food was very nice. We always found something to eat. The views from this hotel are stunning. I wouldn't say it's for people who have walking difficulties as there are lots of steps to the swimming pool and beach. The beach is beautiful but the pebbles do hurt your feet. ( get some proper beach shoes from local shops if it hurts your feet, well worth it! ) The staff were great and very friendly apart from one old man behind the bar. He could be very rude at times. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Straight outside the hotel were restaurants bars and shops. So very close to everything. The only problem is the entertainment at night. Quite poor, it didn't bother us too much as we just played cards with family, and made our own fun. This hotel defiantly needs to improve the night time entertainment . Apart from that we had a fab time and my 5 year old loved the swimming pool although it was freezing. Would recommend but don't expect great night time entertainment . Hopefully the hotel will take this on board then it would be truly perfect.

We were very, very disappointed with our stay after 6 years of having a good time at this hotel.
Breakfast was fine, but the restaurant was so noisy with the staff throwing cutlery into basins beside our table and swearing in Spanish! I know its a busy hotel, but there is obviously a staffing problem in the restaurant. If the staff toned it down and stopped throwing plates and curtlery, the breakfast would have been a good experience.
The dinner was appalling - frozen vegetables half cooked, chips chips and more chips... definitely not up to the standard we've experienced for the last 6 years. Normally, the dinner is nice Catalan food, plenty of fish and chicken. Half cooked brussel spouts and frozen carrots...
The rooms were noisy. No way could you have a lie in or an afternoon nap. It sounded like someone moving furniture all the time. We had to go and ask the upstairs neighbours at 2am to keep the noise down (and I met the woman through the wall from this upstairs neighbour who was out her room to ask the same thing!!). From about 5am you could sleep.
All in all, we won't be back, which is a shame because the site is beautiful.

Sadly I could not recommend this hotel to anyone. We had too many bad experiences to mention and when I finally had enough and went to the front desk to try and get some sort of resolve I was met with a defensive effort and told that my complaint of being ignored at the bar was because I wasn’t waving my arms around and shouting enough..... what a disgraceful attempt at any kind of customer service.
The staff were generally rude, however the bar staff were on another level and probably the most unpleasant that I have ever come across.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was stressful and chaotic with cold food. Children were even pushed out of the way by hotel guests in a mad scramble with staff doing nothing to manage the chaos.
The rooms and general areas of the hotel are very dated and not cleaned to a high standard. The floors in the rooms were left wet with bleach leaving the bottom of the bed sheets soaked.
I could go on....
On checking out we were not asked how our stay was and at no point did anyone attempt to make our stay enjoyable.

We paid extra for a sea view and it was really worth it,cracking view from the 1st flood overlooking the beach.Good beach ,however it was a gravelly beach ,but soft gravel so wasn't too bad.Sea was lovely,warmer than the pool,which was also very good,right next to the pool.Dining room was hectic ,but something to choose from for most tastes.Bar prices reasonable and hotel close to the town.
