Fine Hotel
Raymond Con 21/09/2016 21:59The hotel was fine if somewhat remote, a car would be recommended. Our stay was made by the fantastic staff, who could not do enough for us, and all was done with a smile. Our room was comfortable, with furniture in keeping with the hotel. The public areas were immaculate, with a lovely terrace over looking the swimming pool. In the evenings we dined on the terrace, the menu was not overly extensive but all that we ordered was excellent.
Amazing stay

Just like other people in the reviews we were a bit surprised by the long narrow road that leads to the hotel and the distance from Genua. However, once we entered the hotel everything was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful and clean, even with a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The outside pool can be entered all day and from the surrounding lying chairs you can enjoy a beautiful view towards the coast. The breakfast includes fruit, bread, yoghurt, many italian sweet treats and you will be asked whether you wish to have scrambled eggs. Hotel employees are very friendly and willing to provide information to help you around. All in all a recommendation for anyone with a car that doesn't mind travelling a bit to get to the popular spots. Much luxury for the price you pay.
Peaceful small hotel
Frode Mon 10/05/2016 16:59Even if the hotel is a bit out of Genoa and the road up to the hotel, it is well worth it. You get a very luxerious feel when you enter into the courtyard with trees. Here you can find peace after a busy day in town in a wonderful garden, which has a pond with swans. The view of the port is very nice.
The room was quite big, clean and romanticly decorated. The service pleasant and correct.
I am of course very positive to a nice breakfast with individually cooked egg and bacon.
Visiting a bit off season, it was really good value.
Beautiful Castle with breathtaking views
Sarah-lee Mon 28/05/2014 14:01I went here recently for a wedding. The castle itself is beautiful and unbelievable views of Genova. Food was beautifully presented. The aperativio was mouthwatering. The staff were polite and helpful. I did nt stay the night but rooms were nice and comfortable. I was offered one for the whole day so I could breastfeed my 2month old son.

Massimovitzon 12/11/2013 23:58This place used to be fantastic. the view is super. The mansion itself glamorous. But now service got really down. The room I was in had a very old and noisy A/C. It was july and was so humid and muggy it was impossible to sleep. when I went to reception I found out that other guests were already complaining about the same problem, but nothing was done to solve any of the problems. The rooms are shaggy and poorly outfitted. Old stuff, but not old as in antique. Old and rundown.
Terrible breakfast after a terrible night on a squeaky uncomfortable bed. I wanted to run away and felt glad I did
