Not entirely sure when the stars were handed out, maybe 50 years ago

Me and my partner have been staying at this joke of a hotel for a week. We go home tomorrow thank god. I don't even know where to start...
The food is absolutely disgusting, salad tastes like chemicals, all the meat and pastas taste like fish- even the pastas with no fish in!!, no variety at all. Supposedly on a rotational food scheme but often the food for tea is the same the following dinner and tea. Hot foods are freezing, chips are soggy and cold, only thing I could eat was buttered bread!! Layout of the restaurant is basic and outdated, every single time I went to make a drink my glasses were dirty. Plates regularly have bits of food stuck on them too.
The pool is TINY and FREEZING, nothing like it looks on the photos online. Pool area is absolutely filthy- the floor was never cleaned, sticky even at 9 o clock in the morning when pool area first opened. One morning me and my partner got in the pool and there was a green line around the surface of the water- I touched it with my finger and some of it came off- it was pure dirt- nearly threw up! So pool is clearly not cleaned!!! The sun loungers are all broken and cracked and the mattresses are all ripped and have the stuffing falling out, these were all dirty too. There's many more sun beds than mattresses so often people lying on cracked sun beds- not good enough.
The snack bar??????? More like a plate of 3 crusty sandwiches and the occasional hard cake. Drinks don't taste like the actual brands- Pepsi tasted cheap and watered down.
The hotel has nothing else on offer, crazy golf is tiny, filthy and extremely old and the tennis courts are disgusting too.
Rooms are outdated, problems with air conditioning. Air con vents absolutely riddled with dust! The safe doesn't work, phone doesn't work and balcony is disgusting, tiny and overlooking a wall. These have been mentioned multiple times to staff but fallen on deaf ears. Bathroom outdated, hair dryer 16 years old and hardly works. Bedding hasn't been changed all week. 3 light bulbs don't work and haven't since we arrived. Paint peeling off walls all over the hotel- looks like it hasn't been touched in years.
Staff are RUDE and arrogant and make you feel unwelcome (unless your Spanish or over 50- the difference in treatment was ridiculous). Bar man down stairs is horrendous, people queuing for drinks whilst he washes pots and goes out back!
No entertainment- DEFINITELY NOT FOR KIDS or anyone under 30.
Cockroaches in hotel at night.
All other facilities such as the sauna, tennis and ping pong are all at extra costs!!
This is undoubtedly the worst hotel I have ever been to.
We went out into town and a local lady asked us where we was staying and when we told her she laughed and said your not staying in that dump are you!
This hotel doesn't even touch a 4 star..
Wouldn't rate it higher than at 2 it is VILE

I am staying in this hotel at the moment the hotel is ok the rooms are adequate food is typical all inclusive you can usually find something to eat if not there are plenty of really places to eat nearby I have 2 complaints however the rooms aren't great the aircon isn't good so rooms are really hot during the night so not much sleep the other complaint is the hotel bar on a night the bar man is extremely rude and ignorant he serves the guests who are paying for their drinks because they chose not to do all inclusive and the all inclusive guests are spending a considerable amount of time waiting to be served on an evening there should be more than one person serving drinks at the bar

Absolutely disgusted,whoever rated this hotel a 4 star seriously needs to rethink there career!! I am currently staying in this hotel and only have 2 days left until I can get out of here,where to start the staff are ignorant and aggressive when I ask for any help, The food is shocking very little choice and stone cold the rooms are dated and dirty! Not to mention have no air con kettle or drinks,I have spent a fortune on eating out as I refuse to eat any more from the hotel.There nothing at all to do in the hotel the small swimming pool is overcrowded and with very few sun loungers. The breaks between meal times are too long never ever would I come back to this hotel again and I am just warning others about it.i only paid £400 for this holiday but even so feel I have been robbed!! Never again only 2 days to go🙏🙏

The hotel was situated in a great location near to the bus station and shops.
There is a Mercadona supermarket 200m away.
This makes the hotel suited to more of a city type break which is why we went, though the resorts beaches are on your doorstep.
The hotel is an older hotel but we found it well appointed, clean and comfortable.
We had a room with an internal city view but that made it a really quiet room and we slept soundly in the firm beds.There is an internal hallway in the room with a solid door and this keeps corridor room to a minimum.
The drinks available in the all inclusive are ample, shame the downstairs bar area is not open daytime but there is an indoor area upstairs.
We found plenty of choice on the buffet, always a good meat and fish choice.
Lots of salad to choose from.
Not fine dining cuisine but all the food was well presented and well cooked.
The microwave did have to be used at times though so the hot plate food warmers seem inadequate at times.
The pool is quite small and the terrace always had ample sunbeds, no need to be getting up to the roof and mark your territory out with your towel.
There is an extra bonus of a secluded rooftop naturist area. This is all screened off and chained at the foot of the stairs so if it`s not for you then stay by the pool.
We made full use of the faciiity.
Wi fi is free in the downstairs bar and reception and is fine for e mails etc but you will struggle with Facebook.
We found the free wi fi at Mc Donalds came in handy,
Overalll we can`t understand the moaners, we had a brilliant stay and the staff were fantastic.
A holiday is what you make of it yourself.
The value for money we got was amazing and we would definitely return if visitind the North of Tenerife again.
