Lovely little hotel with friendly staff and good service. Unfortunately the wifi is absolutely terrible - have to go out to pool for an intermittent signal.
Rooms are clean, price often includes a nice breakfast.

The Tripui is a nice hotel and good value. We paid $1,200MN/night for two people (8/17). The price included WIFI and a hot breakfast. We enjoyed watching the stars come out while swimming in the huge pool. The restaurant is mediocre. I understand there is a good pizza place at the marina (about half a mile walk from the hotel) but you will have to drive to Loreto for more options.
I had a nice jog around the mostly unfinished marina in the morning and then checked out a trail that's about 1/10 of a mile from the hotel on the south side of the road. It is about a 500ft elevation gain in half a mile with some steep sections. At the top there is a large white cross; a monument on one of the hills surrounding the trailer park. From there you have a great view of the ocean, islands, marina and beautiful mountains.
The hotel breakfast was okay but service at the restaurant was very slow in the morning.
This is a clean and comfortable place to stay if you do not need to be in town.

This is a review of the restaurant in the hotel. We stopped there for lunch. We stayed at the hotel a few years back. The hotel has been fully renovated and looked very pleasant & nice. The hotel is located about 30KM south of the town of Loreto, in Puerto Escondido. The food was very good . I had the Lemon Buttered Grilled Fish Fillet. The sauce covered the whole fillet and was tasty. The fillet itself was moist and not overcooked. We will probably comeback and try other dishes

We booked this hotel on line from the road, not sure what to expect being far away from town. To our surprise we had an awesome experience!! They were expecting us that was very nice made us feel welcomed. Bell boy very helpful there is plenty of parking and is gated. Rooms are very spacious and nice travertine floors I am not 100% sure if we had heated floors on the bathroom but it felt like we did. Nice towels finally a shower head at a proper high for tall guest. Swimming pool was just perfect, we spend the afternoon and night after dinner just enjoying the eco system they have manage to create. We had dinner and breakfast on their Restaurant, everything well seasoned and tasty. We are definitely coming back and will recommend to friends and family. Its the perfect spot to forget about the outside word!! Overall management and service was very good. This pictures are not retouched taken with my phone.

stopped in for a day and stayed two. very clean , large suite. good food and pet friendly, a little out of the way from loreto but nice and quite. large clean pool. we even had our dogs at our feet during dinner.we plan on stopping in on our next trip
