We spent a week in this hotel with good location, nice staff and generous breakfast! The rooms are very clean, wi-fi is free and works well, parking is large and free. We haven't used the pool as the weather was still cold in April.
The hotel's restaurant is very good and well managed, serving delicious dishes! We couldn't stop eating the local tasty specialties.

Not easy place to find a nice property that accomodates a small dog with pool ans sea view.
We had to change the room as 122 was very noisy as the ventilator of the hotel exits there.
The staff is not very friendly nor helpful, perhaps the are for groups only and not for individuals

We came to Tropea to spend the day and decided to spend the night. Tropis Hotel was the best one available and with good price for our need.
Very good location, very clean, but the room was cold and too simple for a 4 star hotel.

We stayed some days according to a wedding we were invited to.
All facilities (hotel, room, pool) were nice and clean. The staff was friendly, but English language skills were not too good. Taking into account how an usual Italian breakfast looks like, the choice at the breakfast buffet was really big.
It was a little bit irritating that there was a Pool Cafe mentioned at the pool also with a food menu. When we wanted to order some food at the pool, we were told that there is no service of food or drinks in glasses at the pool.
But the rest was fine. We would go there again.

This hotel has very good service. Rooms are clean and tidy and regularly done on day basis. The position of hotel is exelent. 10min walk from city center of Tropea and has its own shuttle bus for beach transport. You can get to beach your self by foot but be prepared to get back up to numbers of stairs.
In Calabria food is magnificent. My suggestion is not to book anything more than bad and breakfast since in Tropea you can find numbers of good restorants.
