OK, Coatzacoalcos is NOT Veracruz city. Never will be, no matter how long they build the Malecone. BUT, if you have business in the port area, this is your best bet.
Taxi ride to the Port are about 25 pesos, there is a couple name brand Pizza places close by, an Oxxo 2 blocks away and generally a good location if you are thinking business and home again.
Free breakfast, but NOT the breakfast buffet but good enough, WiFi, cable TV, flat screen TV, AC. And very clean and professional.
I've stayed there twice and it is a stable business. I also stayed at One Forum but it is a long taxi ride to the port and twice the price.
