Great hotel, friendly staff
andyh04on 26/10/2017 19:30Just stayed at Hotel Victoria for a night on our way through. The hotel was great value and the rooms very very clean. Well positioned right in the centre of town. For us the facilities were good and the free parking under the hotel really useful. Yes, you do have to drive around the one way system to get to the car park but that isn’t a problem. We loved the old world charm and grand nature of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and really looked after us. We found the breakfast layout amusing, we were the only ones eating in a massive dining room and the breakfast items had been strategically laid out in each corner of the room so we got a work out getting around for a plate of food! The breakfast was nice but not amazing. We would stay again though.
Great value for a well located hotel
angelina1920on 29/09/2017 21:31I have stayed here several times in past years. This is a family run hotel. Very clean, friendly and very near many important sites: Pompei, the Amalfi Coast and its villages, Salerno, the island of Capri, Herculaneum and Naples. The decor is elegantly simple, probably built in the 1920's or 30's. Easy to get to by train or car. Local bus service to the Amalfi Coast and its beaches is also easy. The staff is always ready to serve and are accommodating. Dinner on the terrace was particularly lovely and the main dining room is airy and cheerful. Air conditioning worked perfectly on the warmer days.
A small hotel with a personal touch
Giuseppina Gon 28/09/2017 05:12Location extremely convenient with easy access to buses and train station .Cava dei Tirreni itself is a beautiful old town full of life,it is wonderful just to stroll and admire the porticos.There is always something going on,and if you just need a rest you can seat outside one of the many bars and see the world go by!It is such a friendly place.
Salerno with access to the ferry that takes you to Amalfi coast is only 5km away,easy access to Pompei ,Vietri sul mare a tiny old little village full of charm and producing pottery with bight colours!There is so much to see in this area!Paestum,Ercolano again not too far away.
The staff in the hotel is very helpful and kind,the rooms clean,the decor very simple.

Like staying at great grandma's house
Evan Con 29/08/2017 12:41Hotel had a nice European breakfast. The rooms were clean. The beds were hard and small. The pillows were thin and hard. We could never get the safe to work. The staff was really nice and eager to help with good attitudes. Cava de Tirreni was a great place to enjoy a small typical Italian town with easy access to Salerno and the ferries to Amalfi Coast. The hotel is in a great location, 2 blocks from the bus & train station.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful town
Taigahon 24/08/2017 12:06Really lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We went as a family of four (a 5 year old and a one year old included) and stayed a number of nights. We loved:
- the spacious beds;
- the clean towels everyday without any passive aggressive signs about protecting the environment by not changing them regularly;
- coming back to a wonderfully tidy room every day;
- plentiful supply of toiletries;
- the breakfast;
- the upholstery - beautiful;
- the doggy;
- that it's right in the town centre;
- the vegetable buffet at dinner;
- the easy access to the Sorrento peninsula.
