Very comfortable, safe, reasonable place to stay in srinagar. Food was delicious and home like. Hotel staff was very helpful n generous. Beautiful garden, clean n comfortable rooms and safety with CRPF.

It was great experience of stay at hotel Vikram. The hospitality, food and service are just homely. Also enjoy view point restaurant on the way to gulmarg. Which is also the part of this hotel. We enjoy the day of its inauguration.

It is situated near Lal Bagh,one of the busiest center in srinagar.The first thing that would greet your eyes are the military barracks present inside the hotel.The thing is that CRPF personnel are present 24*7 hours,providing you fool proof security.
Hospitality wise,this was the best hotel,I ever stayed in.Friendly staff,24*7 hot water facility,a homely stay with good food.
Can improve if they provide heater ,etc

Hotel Vikram is located at Mandir Bagh, Gaw Kadal in Srinagar. You have to walk/drive around 100 meters in a street. Not difficult to find. As I arrived there, CRPF guards were at the entry and a big fencing around it. Later on I came to know that 2nd and 3rd floor is occupied by CRPF personnels while ground floor is a hotel. It operates in summer only.
Owner Mr. Vikram is a pleasant personality. His parents are gentle people. I spent in total around three night in split.
Hotel is fine, spacious, good lawn. Rooms are moderately furnished. Hot water is available round the clock.
Restaurant opens at 7 AM only. After that you need to order and it may take half an hour more to get. So there is a scope for improvement.
I can recommend this hotel for a family stay.

Hi All,
I Booked this hotel by going through TripAdvisor Rating and i was also short on budget.
I booked this Hotel for 2 days and we were given Room #113.
Prons : Cheap, Good Food
Cons : Not located in tourist Area, not safe to go outside after sunset , very small rooms (Mine was Damn dirty.. see attached Pics).
Since we planned it only to sleep at night it did not bothered us much.. but would not recommend anyone in case you are really tight on your budget.
