Lovely place
asatornkviston 09/08/2017 09:10We spent five days here, as a base for trekking. Lovely, quite and clean. Our host, Gaia, helped us to find best routes and was always helpful. Can strongly recommend.
Really good trekking access and easy to get to center of Canazei, for more stores and restaurants.
Well placed for the lifts
oxslton 07/09/2016 11:10I stayed here during a walking holiday in the Dolomites. The hotel, like most in the area, is family run so generally well cared for. It is a fairly simple wooden chalet type building. It has no restaurant but there are several close by. It has a bar area. I had a good sized single room with a balcony and views across the roof tops of the mountains. It is about five minutes walk from the lifts including a new one that, I understand, will take skiers directly into the Sella Ronda pistes.
The family were helpful, giving us suggestions for places to eat, for example.
Cute and lovely place in Canazei
IzzieGunnon 06/07/2016 10:58My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as a last minute decision on a road trip, the host was so nice, she gave us advice for a hike the next day, gave us a free map and they have a great gluten free Breakfast also! Would highly recommend, very welcoming and homey and not too expensive. Worth a stay!
Good option for Canazei
Robert Hon 05/07/2016 22:49This small hotel is in Alba just outside Canazei. It is a good price alternative if you like a quieter location. A great option if you have a car but stay in central Canazei if you are travelling by bus.
The rooms are pleasant and have wonderful views to the mountains. A sunset the mountains have that special light when the sun is still on them. Wonderful!
Our room had a good size balcony and all that you need. Breakfast is expensive so calculate that prior to booking.
There are a few good option for meals close to the hotel or drive into the main town where there are lots of options
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Parking is available on site.
Friendly, comfortable, convenient for skiing
Andy Son 05/04/2016 16:00Family owners were friendly and helpful, even though they didn't all speak English! Breakfasts were good: there is no dinner service, but several good (and not so good!) restaurants near by. The ski bus to Canazei stops almost outside, and the cable car to the Belvedere ski area about 100m away. WiFi is free, although connection was very unreliable in my room. Rooms were clean and comfortable: not large, but more than adequate when you are out skiing most of the day.
