After a 24 day cruise we wanted to be away from 2000 people before flying back to Boston. We found the peace and tranquillity in Villa Clementina. Only 7 rooms, off-season, just us and 4 other people: perfect. From the moment we checked in to our departure we felt we were staying in someone's private villa. Candles lit along the walk to the small, intimate restaurant with fireplace, more candles and classical music made this stay also very romantic. The grounds have cozy areas to sit, lined with statues, sloping to a beautiful big swimming pool (with very cold water late October) and tennis court. The staff couldn't have been nicer, welcoming and accommodating. With suggestions from where to walk, restaurants in town (we visited 2 excellent ones, Pane & Olio (lunch) and Taverna (excellent dinner with wine and food suggestions (fresh porcinis) from the young woman-owner) the museum castle in town, the Italian Air Force museum, to medieval towns along the lake (all musts when you're there). Good size room, big armoire for hanging, two drawers on bottom. Very comfortable bed. Big bathroom, very good shower (with curtain), high toilet, heated towels (nice touch). Nice buffet breakfast with fruit salad on request, juices, boiled eggs, cold cuts, great croissants and sweets. And cappuccinos of course. Dinners were very good, simple compared to the Taverna in town, but nobody has the romantic setting as Clementina. All in all a very pleasant visit, we highly recommend this hotel.

Very personal service, beautiful villa converted into a hotel, lovely swimming pool and tennis courts in a beautiful landscaped garden.
Delicious breakfast included in the price.
A perfect weekend escape, 30 km from Rome.

Me and my girlfriend were staying at an airbnb in Rome for 6 days and I thought it would be a nice idea to surprise her with a lovely hotel out of the city. I saw the photos and read all the amazing reviews but I didn't quite realise how amazing it would be. The rooms are very generous and each one has beautiful art on the walls and ceiling painted by the owner of the hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and cosy. I also bought me and my girlfriend the spa where you have the whole place to yourselves for an hour and half - it has a jacuzzi, salt room, steam room, sauna and emotional shower. The food is also very lovely as well as the wine! The pool is very relaxing to lay down next to and it's very refreshing in the heat. The tennis court is great as well! What really topped it off apart from the amazing views, delicious food, comfortable rooms and relaxing spa was the staff. They were all so kind and helpful - the owner of the hotel even gave us a lift into town on one of the days, out of his own generosity, and said if we had any problems we could ring him.
I couldn't say one bad thing about this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Bracciano or wants a few days out of Rome like we did. We will definitely be staying here again if we are close by without a doubt.

Fabulous host made us very welcome and transported us into town for dinner as it is located outside town. The room was generous, with a good sized bathroom. Lovely pool, tennis court and garden. Slightly slow service to get sorely-needed drinks after the tennis, but we were on holiday so it didn't matter much.

We visited this hotel on our way to a rented villa. Even though we just stayed one night, I'm sure that we will come back.
We had a lovely dinner and the kitchen prepared a fantastic bolognese to the kids.
We were treated like family and they even gave us their private number to call at any time during our week in Italy.
The rooms are lovely decorated and you have all amenities you need from garden to pool.
