We visited During June 2017.It was a Slack Season.Very Few People Visit During this time.
Staying at Volga Hotel was a very good experience.We booked the cottage from makemytrip.
The Cottage Has 2 Bedrooms 1 Hall and 2 Bathrooms.
Only One Bedroom and the hall have Television sets.
The Beds Have Heaters in them so you can sleep very comfortably.
Pros-
1.Hotel centrally located,very close to market. you can just walk to the market.
2.Staff is very good and helping.
3.View From the Cottage Rooms is Excellent!
4.You can walk to lidder river which is very closeby.
5.All good restaurants are closeby. Dana Pani,Sagar Ratna Etc. On Walking distance.
6.Free Wifi. As Your Prepaid sims wont work In J&K its very useful.
Ask Wifi Pass From Reception.
Cons-
1.Beside The Cottage is a small open sewage which stinks little bit when entering.
2.The Hotel Food is what i dont recommend. Maybe it could be due to Slack Season but the taste was very average.
Advice-
If you are a family of 4 or more(4 is ideal else u will need extra bedding) then you can definitely go for it.you would get the full house to yourself.
Apart from this,We booked through makemytrip and got great discounts during that period.The Max Amount for cottage should not be more than 2500 in any case during high season (My opinion) We got it for around 1500/night.
But You Can Go for It if Your Budget is High Enough!

V.nicely located hotel.. just beside lidder river and the main market.
Food provided was good and tasty but not much variety and buffet was offered though booked through mmt package of food.

Good Hotel with good ambience and scenic views. Service is good and like the food quality. Rooms are good with nice views. Food quality is good and staff is very co-operative. Will definitely recomend

Right at the heart of Pahalgam is located this hotel. So location wise, this place is perfect. The Hotel staff is pretty decent and humble too. On our request, they served us our breakfast at the Garden table amidst great snow clad mountain view. The Dinner is made to order and not a buffet but very good. Though breakfast was bit disappointing. Don't expect much from breakfast. I would rate it 3.5 on 5

We booked 3 rooms here for 2 night stay. But because of current rule of up and down journeys on Jammu Srinagar highway on alternate days, our stay at Pahalgam was cut short to one night only. Naturally we could not get enough of the breath taking beauty that Pahalgam is. And Volga Hotel complemented this stay by good food, great services.
They even offered us one night extra say at the hotel to compensate for our loss, but due to booking at Srinagar already done, we could not accept it.
However, we have a small grievance that they should have refunded a part of our one night booking amount or could have adjusted that with our food bill, given the fact that we arrived one day late only because of circumstances not in our hand.
