I love to stay at Hotel Vrishali Executive whenever I travel to Kolhapur for Business. It is a no frills Business Hotel that has neat and clean rooms, a happy and smiling staff, and good food. The location is very convenient from the highway as well as the city. There are some good places to dine a few minutes walk away.

We stayed here on the 15th of this month. It is a cozy hotel, and located about 5 Kms from teh famous Mahalakshmi temple. The service is good and the rooms are comfortable. They do have game rooms and a terrace pool with pool side dining facility,
The food is OK. Overall a very pleasant stay in Kolhapur.

Had booked a suite for self and a classic room for my friend. Both rooms I found very nice. The classic room too was fairly large and the sit-out in the window in that room was a wonderful add-on! Suite of course was very cosy and comfortable. The sitting room was sufficiently spacious for about 6 of us to have a comfortable friendly discussion! The bed-room too was very comfortable. And the food too was amazing! All-in-all, henceforth I will find another hotel in Kolhapur only if Vaishali doesn't have any room left! :p

Pictures are deceiving ! I booked this hotel on Booking.com - rare pictures are there of the hotel from visitors
The pool on the roof top is ok and the fitness room as well.. but corridors, food variety and tv channels are awful
The 2 guys at reception are not helpful as well.. despite giving all info for booking on website, they want to know what you came to do in the city, who are your contact persons, what are there phone numbers, .. at a point I told him why do you need so much information, i already paid for the room!
Then he stopped - really bad impression on arrival at this hotel!
Only reason I booked that one was it "proximity" to main shopping malls as I had enough of Indian food.. therefore did not plan to eat anything at the hotel.

This is at a walking distance from bus stand . Mahalaxmi temple is 3 kms and so is the railway station. Buffet breakfast was very good with option for fast items ( Khichadi , cut fruits, milk, juice etc) . Big spacious room
