We stayed for about the tenth time in this excellent hotel for our wintersport break. Great rooms, excellent food and very service oriented and friendly staff. The hotel get's better every year. We will be back!

Excellent wellness hotel with excellent service & dining

Weisses See is located off the road in the small resort of Gries, near the church of See. The hotel has an interior where warm traditional style is blended with modern accents: in the lobby there is a modern bar and fireplace. Rooms have modern bathrooms, tradtional warm accents but also modern touch. Everywhere you see the eye for detail and refinemen in the interior decorations.The wellness zone of this hotel is really chic and a mustdo and consist of an indoor LED-lighted pool, 2 sauna's, an aromatherapy, salt-cave and infrared cabines. We had a seven-course dinner each day, special dishes, a seafood evening, a fondue evening, really, the chef is very good. Also service is outstanding, we had very friendly and attentive waiters with a lot of experience. I had some birthday wished fro my wife, and they were executed to perfection by the reception lady. The hotel also is very family friendly, there is a nice playzone for children with consoles, tablesoccer, a wooden castle. Special credits also to the cleaning staff, who even added their personal touch each day by always re-arranging the bedding sheets. They have also excellent and modern lockers for ski-equipment.Really, this is as anywhere near as perfection as a mountain hotel can come and certainly one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

nice hotel, with style

we stayed last week from 30.1, we are a family of 4, 2 kids.one of us doesn't ski.
This hotel is a family owned , the owner ( the wife) has great decoration taste and is very friendly, the hotel itself is well maintained , clean and when it is not so full it is simply great to be in, it has a spa with different types of sauna and steam rooms
This hotel has near by a shopping centre and provides a bus to the ski area,however in the winter if you are not a ski fan I wouldn't bother to go there, there is nothing much to do. they told me there is cross country ski in Ischgel I drove there to find the path closed du to lavina risk! how disappointing , we were not lucky with the weather ,so not much sun
so I found it a bit a bummer that they only open the spa at 15:30 so even if you are not skiing, you still have to wait to use the spa and by 16:00 the crowd started to come back from the ski so the Spa becomes unpleasant.
there is a pool too in the hotel but it is a bit cold for me.
my kids had no issues to swim and enjoy though
the food is great so is the service , especial thanks to Thomas our drinks waiter and the friendly lady from Serbia I forgot her name (her son works there too she said)
I wanted to say thanks to the owners again for their hospitality, I did not get a chance to say good bye , you were busy.
I will come back again in summer time.
my only suggestion or tip, if you could provide tips and more recommendation for people who do want to do walks or snow shoes walking and not necessarily ski....however all is great my son is asking already to come back next winter.

Very nice hotel with newly renovated rooms. Exceptional food is served in dinner. Breakfast buffet is good. Spa area is very nice with one pool and several saunas, massage room and relax room.Staff is welcoming,Although it is a hotel of impressive architecture, they made as feel as warm as in a cozy bed and breakfast. Highly recommended!
