My wife and I stayed at the West End hotel for the first time. I would describe it as a classic hotel with a spectacular view. We took one of the sea views rooms and even though the weather was not sunny every day. We ate in the restaurant and found it to be very good. I would have no issue recommending this hotel, and the sea views from the room were fantastic.

Classy hotel of great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. At reception great welcome. Large room, clean and comfortable with stunning views. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable and near parking. Definitely a great hotel.

Booked due to the great seafront location and paid for a room with a view and we felt it was worth it. Have to say though that the room was not that big. It was clean and good for a few nights though. The views were fantastic. Staff ok and thought breakfast was great. They have seating inside and out which is lovely. I would suggest that they improve the public space around the ground floor area. The bar could be made lovely and better seating decor and so on. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and loved Nice.

When we booked we had the impression that this was a lovely old, but bit jaded, hotel. But when we saw our room - couldn't believe it. Absolutely beautifully renovated. So spacious and comfortable. fresh and modern, tastefully decorated. Table and 2 dining chairs included. Just gorgeous. The rest of the hotel was like being transported back in time. Luxurious colours, beautiful old furniture and ornaments, carpets, sofas and grand stairways. I would call it authentic rather than jaded.The reception staff were courteous, efficient and helpful. Always seemed to have the answer to any question and saved many a trip to the tourist office. Located almost next door to the Negresco, on the promenade, bus to the airport a few steps from the door, other local buses a 5 min walk away, a short stroll to the markets and Messina Square. This hotel is very well situated. Excellent value

This Hotel looks beautiful, but there are couple little issues. 1. Parking...there is non at the hotel directly, but there is a pubic parking on the right hand-side of the hotel, it's not cheap (30 EURO per day), if you travelling via GPS and are turning left at the lights pass the hotel (it's hard to see and easy to miss and you will have to circle around the peripheral) and then it's will be a turn to the right and underground in a little ally beside the hotel. 2. All the rooms have moldy smell, due to a flash that city does 3-4 times a day, keep all the drains closed in the bathroom, though it also comes from the return air in the ceiling and there is nothing you can do about that. 3. There is no Lobby Bar, not even in the restaurant on first floor. So, if you planning to have drinks at the hotel the only way is to order food at the restaurant or bring your own to the room. Other then these 3 items the hotel is gorgeous, in an amazing location and has very friendly staff.
