A budget price and style hotel compared to the 4*s in town but you do get more for your money. We had a great sized family room with separate room for the kids. Decor a little tired, but still fully functional. Although the bathroom really needs a towel hook or rail. Parking is easy and only 40kr for 24hrs. Breakfast was decent too. Overall great value and would visit it again.

Corridor smells of stale food. Carpet stained. Website decor photos do not match that of the bedrooms. The small bedroom has flaking paint away from all the window frames. No tea or coffee facilities, no water TV is one the size of a small computer screen - old fashioned hand shower head in bathroom. There is no desk to work at
This is appalling - you need to double check what room you are booking - they kept saying that I booked a small room - yes but that does not mean a substandard one. All the photos on the website show better decor and facilities.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous at first because I booked, non-cancellable, before looking here at the reviews, the last few of which were not very good, but definitely proved that you cannot always count on reviews.
We stayed three nights, driving down from Västmanland for my husband's birthday. He had never been in that part of Sweden before, wanted to see Göteborg, but I didn't want to stay there so chose Borås. We actually both liked Borås better than Göteborg!
We had a nice large room, comfortable beds, quite clean with a lovely bathroom, although it was a bit disconcerting at first as we looked and looked for the bathroom light switch, only to discover that the light comes on with the opening of the door, stays lit for a long time and goes out by itself!
Having had a long drive, we stayed at the hotel for dinner, which is served during the week-day. Not a huge selection, but certainly enough choice and at a reasonable price as well. We also had dinner there the night before we left for home. Please note that if you order the larger hamburger, you need to be a teen-aged boy to finish it as it was huge, but very juicy, well cooked and quite tasty. The hotel also provides access to the restaurant throughout the day for free coffee, tea or juice, which is a nice thought. The breakfast buffet was extremely nice, lots of choice, and my English husband was delighted to even have beans with his breakfast (I know, it is an English thing).
Our room faced the parking lot, but considering that, even with the windows open, it was quiet. The only disturbance we had was the last night when a large tour bus arrived and the occupants were rather noisy getting settled, but it didn't last that long. Other rooms face the other direction, which is the motorway, and I imagine could be a little more noise during the night.
The hotel is about a 2km walk to the centre, but it is downhill most of the way and a taxi ride back to the hotel cost us only about 100 kr. Lots of good restaurants in the centre and also one about 500m away outside the hospital, with a couple of pizza places also on the way to the center.
Fast, free wifi as well. Parking does cost, but 3 nights cost us (as I remember) about 100 kr, which we don't consider outrageous. All of the staff that we met were friendly and very helpful. We would book again if we return to Borås.

This was clearly not a highlight of our trip. A dirty towel was still lying in the sink of our room when we arrived. In the fitness center, a 3x3 meter bunker-style room in the basement without window, the 10 gym machines were all stacked up in a corner. Staff was quite unfriendly, although on their tshirt it said "personal hotel". Breakfast was ok, with lots of fruit.

Good value!
Average. Not the best, but totally okay. You get what you pay for.
Good bed. Clean.
No air conditioning, so very warm during the summer.
Decent breakfast with quite much to choose from.
You need to pay for the parking.
