I was severely disappointed with my stay. The carpet was dirty looking and had stains and several spots still wet on it. The toilet was loose and the shower curtain rod was about to fall off. The small fridge would almost fall off its mount when you tried to open it and it was dingy inside. The door hardware was missing on the door seal like it had been kicked in and the door did not close tight. Found a full baby bottle sticking out from under one of the beds. Will not return to that H.J. again.
And no remote for the T.V.

I choosed this hotel though an app that qualifies it with 3 strars. The price was not bad but the appearnce was. I just stay one night. The carpet of the guest room was very dirty and there were cockroaches in the room.
There was free breakfast but I rather go somwhere else. If that was the condition of the room I cant imagine the conditions of the kitchen.

The room was burning the lobby was dirty just us he's praying doesn't mean it's clean the food area was dirty the sheets have stains on them the air conditioner very loud and noisy they said that's how they are. The general manager was a jerk Scott that Napoleon's syndrome. They charged my card and they want to charge it again that wasn't going to happen. Because I didn't agree to that the kick me out of the hotel. They can have their hotel there's a wonderful Econo Lodge further down the street on 37 right before downtown port Avenue . Closely renovated I'm holding beautiful floors for Econo Lodge was excellent

Horrible place to stay, carpets nasty, holes in walls, dead bug on night stand, very surprised this is a Howard Johnson property

The place was located near a oil refinery and next to a Mexican restaurant. Therefore it smelled disgusting (fried oil and gas from refinery) and was extremely noisy. It was very difficult to sleep with the noise. Also, this place attracted a lot of workers from the refinery and drug users. The rooms were dirty. The carpet and walls were stained. The sidewalk outside was stained with blood. It was just a terrible and scary experience. Will never visit this place again. Not safe for families with children.
