Good location
Rick Hon 25/09/2017 08:17Located right on the plaza, this Ramada is very convenient for sightseeing in the central area. Plenty of shopping and eating around, as expected. Room is nothing special but comfortable and clean. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Central and quiet
malynka2017on 20/09/2017 22:13Staff were pleasant and helpful. Some knew as much english as we did spanish but we succeeded in achieving the required results. Food was good and the location enabled a view around the main square as preparations for Viva Mexico were underway. The room was quiet and adequate with not much view.
Luxury Suite, REALLY????
Angiesu1on 17/08/2017 14:44We booked a Luxury Suite at the Ramada Plaza Leon. The room had a great view of the court yard. Other than that, everything in the room did not work. In order to get online, we had to go to the lobby to use its wifi. The shower was clogged and filled with dirty brown water. Most of the wall outlets in the room did not work. The ridiculous thing is that the elevator buttons are very difficult to push. We walked up and down the stairs just to avoid the frustration not being able to control/operate the elevator buttons. On the good note, the hotel staff is very nice and I would give them an A+.

chiquis66on 20/07/2017 23:01We really enjoyed our stay...the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the location is perfect for being within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. If possible, get a room with a view to the plaza garden.The people working there are gracious, friendly and helpful. The room rate is very reasonable. The only negative thing I will say is that the room we had, had a broken sofa bed that no one had noticed.
What you would expect in a provincial city.
jbryant2016on 10/07/2017 22:22I can only wonder at the expectations of many who reviewed this hotel so poorly, Leon is not the Polanco in CDMX, nor is it Cancun. This is an acceptable mid-level hotel in an industrial city. Use your Spanish, the staff has limited English and you are traveling in another country. The best element of this hotel is that it opens onto the City Plaza. On Sunday, bands play in the bandstand, and several restaurants around the connected squares offer leisurely breakfasts. I was fortunate to have a room with a Plaza view. The worst element of this hotel is the restaurant. So, get out of the building, explore, and eat somewhere else. Otherwise, Enjoy.
