We stayed here a night each way while driving to Spain from the UK and back.
The location is good for travellers. It's in a fairly ugly warehouse area, but incredibly practical. Plenty of free parking on site and lots of restaurants in walking distance, many of which give you a discount if you pick up a flier from the hotel reception. There's some sort of massive cinema complex almost opposite, but we didn't investigate.
No fancy facilities, Just a nice clean room, bathroom, telly and free wifi. We had the family room which includes a bunk bed for the kids. Only thing really missing from the room was a kettle and stuff to make tea/coffee although there is a machine in reception.
the reception is not staffed 24 hours. I am not sure what time they clock off, probably some time between 9PM ant 10PM so if arriving late phone ahead!
The place doesn't use keys, you get a code for the keypad on your door and pay at check in which means checkout is not required.
Breakfast is fairly simple. Cereals, bread, pastries, cheese and Yoghurt. No meat or eggs, but at 5 euro it's not bad value and very convenient if you need to get out promptly the next day. The staff ran out with a high chair when they saw our little one, which was really appreciated. There seemed to be a patisserie around the corner if you want something more, but we didn't investigate.
The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke good English, and seemed to like the kids.
If we do the same drive to Spain we would stop there again to break the journey, but next time we will bring a kettle!

Stayed here twice in the last two weeks, once driving to northern Spain, the other on the return journey. It's pretty unspectacular, but clean and well kept. As other reviewers have said, it's on an "out of town" light commercial estate, surrounded by lots of other hotels, restaurants, and a huge multi-screen cinema. It's only a minute from junction 1 of the A75, so it's handy. Good price, and for an extra €6 you can have a bog standard breakfast (as many croissants, brioche, nutellas, yogurts, coffees etc, but no meat). Flat screen TV and Wi-fi in your room, which is quite small.
OK for overnight

In the middle of an industrial estate surrounded by a multitude of restaurants. The Arena is clearly set up for an overnight stay as there is nothing to do or see around here. Clean and tidy and as I said earlier a plethora of eating places within a few minutes walk. Something for everyone from Fast food to Al la carte.
Not sure why this is only 2 * hotel!

Stayed 1 night in a family room consisting of double bed and bunks on the way down to the South of France. Hotel is comfortable, clean and well maintained in the centre of a sort of retail park. We arrived about 3.30 pm and were met by very friendly check in staff and booked the breakfast. Lots of restaurants around (all child friendly) on the retail park which you can walk to including a steak restaurant next door. There is a large cinema complex opposite too if you fancy a film. Breakfast room very basic but continental style, croissants, pain au chocolat, cereal etc but no meat. All in all a comfortable night and we'd certainly stay again.

Better than the average budget hotel this is the second time we have stayed the first time a number of years ago we had first called at the Campanile but the rates were far to high and we booked in to the Arena what a wise move the rooms are clean and spacious the staff friendly I would recommend this hotel to any weary traveller
