Ok for one night
Olallie Bon 12/08/2017 08:11We spent there one night to rest during our road trip. The room was very tiny and small but comfortable, the bed at first. No noises at all during the night, we had a really good sleep. The restroom is not a 5 star hotel one but for one night could be ok and you could find worse places...
The lady at the desk is very nice and she gave us a plan telling us the best way to reach Biarritz and Anglet seeing the beautiful beaches in the nearby.

lesleygriffon 04/08/2014 16:30We booked into this budget hotel at the end of a 600 mile cycle ride down and at the price were not expecting much. The rooms were en suite, clean with comfortable beds, a TV and free wi-fi so a pleasant surprise.
As a group of four OPIL cyclists (old age pensioners in lycra) we were amazed and delighted at the trouble the manager went to. He placed our bikes in a secure basement and then allowed us to leave them and our luggage in secure storage after we checked out so that we could explore Bayonne unhindered by them. He even said that if we returned when he was not on duty at reception to buzz the entry phone and he would come down during his afternoon rest period. He said the day he stops wishing to help people will be the day he finds a new job. A lesson many English jobsworths could learn!
The buffet breakfast stoked us up for the day and was good value. All in all a pleasant surprise.
A GOOD STOP- OVER
David Won 11/03/2012 13:54Having read one of the reviews we almost did not stop at this hotel. However, as it was a Sunday and getting somewhere to eat can be a problem sometimes, we booked. What a pleasant surprise. Food, room, bed etc. were very good when considering the price.
This a family run hotel, the welcome was warm and friendly, and the service good. The road was not 2 metres away and we had a peaceful night. We would definately sat here again.

Loud traffic noise all night. busy road 2 meters away from the hotel.
It is situated in an industrial park.
Please save your money - you are better off sleeping on the beach, or anywhere else.
Travel to another town if you have to or sleep on an over night train.
I have stayed in many budget hotels over the years - this is the worst place I have ever stayed. I want to spare other people from the awfulness.
