Right by the Saone with a v enjoyable walk over the bridge. Very friendly chap, simple comfy room, nice continental breakfast. Went to a nice Vietnamese restaurant - the restaurants over the river also looked good. I was a bit concerned about parking, but found several places on the road nearby. The host helpfully said you could by a ticket in advance which started from 8:30 in the morning.

My husband and I spent one night in this boutique hotel overlooking The Saone River. Our hosts were very welcoming enjoyed a lovely breakfast of cheeses banquet and croissants. Our room was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the shower a very nice bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Macon

A lovely place to stay....very warm and welcoming. Our room was very clean, the beds really comfortable with extra blankets and pillows provided if we needed them.
The bathroom was very, very clean and had one of the BEST showers I had the pleasure of using during my trip to France.

An overnight stay driving south to north - good central location, clean comfortable room, spacious bathroom, easy to walk across river to the restaurants and to explore the old town behind the hotel - very friendly and helpful hosts -

This place is a bit easier on the wallet than many others around and it's not bad. Rooms are a bit small but have air con and are clean. Location is very good, at the northern end of the old town (as the name suggests). The hotel is apparently managed by the friendly owners. Breakfast was OK.
