I was a bit disappointed in this hotel, but it's not bad. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. My room looked over the back so it was quiet. We skipped the breakfast (I have given up on French breakfasts....) It was frustrating to have booked online and then arrive to find it is advertising cheaper rates on the nights of my stay. Oh well. At least we were sure we had a room. It is centrally located in the old town so handy for everything we wanted to do.

I had expectations of a quirky and charming inn from the website and reviews. Overall, my visit was disappointing. Our assigned room was on the third floor with a sloping roof that made it hard to move between the bathroom and the bed. The room had a single small window that when opened resulted in considerable noise from the street which lasted though the night. The next day we asked for a new room and were offered a room across the hall with a full ceiling. This room was more comfortable but still very noisy at night. The rooms were small and unremarkable. This coupled with no nice public space in the inn left us feeling a bit claustrophobic and confined. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We’ll be looking for a different place to stay on our next visit to Annecy.

The rooms are small and awkwardly shaped. We were on the top floor with low curved ceilings. The area was very noisy while trying to sleep. Lots of drunk partying all night long. We prefer to have a coffee pot in room so we can make a cup of coffee and putter before heading out. There was nothing but a small fridge. Grateful to have that at least. The hotel was relatively empty so we had no problem with the elevator but I can imagine if the place was full, you would not be able to turn around in the halls and lobby or hail the elevator. Otherwise the place was fine. Great location and nice staff. Wife was good.

Very nice location, in the middle of the old town, and near the lake “3 minutes walking distance”
Rooms are small but practical, and clean.
Reception are very friendly and helpful
Prices are fair, I will visit it again soon

The Hotel is in the most fantastic location so opt for a room with a view. It is very old so accept that you are not staying in a modern hotel. A cold breakfast is available and there are many restaurants on the doorstep, beside the canals or in the old medieval streets. There are wonderful flowers all over Annecy and beautiful walks along the lakeside. Having flown into Geneva collect your free train ticket before leaving the baggage hall to travel into Geneva centre. Walk 5 minutes to the bus station and catch the local bus to Annecy.
