A pleasant stay
patriciamM3837GRon 20/09/2017 13:25We stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel very clean, our own room was basic but comfortable and had all that was needed for our stay. The location is ideal across the train station and convenient for visiting the city as it is only 10 minutes walk to the center of town. Coming back late one weekend did not cause us any worry as the area is very quiet and seems fairly secure. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff was always very helpful and friendly, in all a pleasant stay!
Average French City Hotel
GerryW1952on 22/08/2017 15:53I do not have any specific complaints about this hotel. it was clean and tidy but fairly typical of many older style French hotels found in cities. The room was a bit on the small size and the bathroom was a bit tired (including the single light over the basin that didn't work). It was OK for an overnight stop. The staff were good and very friendly. Parking is not easy as the choice is on-street or a walk to an underground car park near the station. At the time of writing there are considerable road works in the area so on-street is not an option. The underground car park is OK if you are happy with a walk, carrying luggage.
Very good modest hotel close to train station
joanmN9156QHon 19/06/2017 21:13We stayed in this hotel for the quality/price and because of the proximity to the train station, since we had booked an early morning train back to Paris. The rooms were very clean without frill or fuss. The noise from the square is considerable, but the sound proofing is quite good and permitted us to sleep soundly. Excellent restaurant across the street for dinner, a nice boulangerie next door and a supermarket just down the street. Easy access to old town and the chateau. We would stay her again, mostly for the wonderful and welcoming staff who could not have been nicer or more helpful. A hearty thanks to all of them.
Poor Universe
slavkor744on 03/05/2017 08:22Correct room without refrigerator, hair dryer, with only poor plastic beakers and without enough space for clothes. I had to keep my clothes on a chair or in a suitcase. Internet connection was better in a bath than in a room.
Excellent situation close to the railway station. Hotel has seen better days
422beatricekon 01/11/2016 12:54Very loud traffic noise during the night and people shouting on the street (probably to be expected if you choose this location). In the room, bad acoustic insulation (thin walls). Breakfast is not value for money. Better to have breakfast in a nice "Boulangerie" close to the hotel. For our taste, the mattress was too hard.
The hotel is situated at walking distance to the railway station. This is very convenient. We had a very large family room. Lots of space for 4 people; light and airy. Very clean room. Friendly service.
