No air con on hot day so bit hot in room
But tidy clean and fantastic power shower
Good for travellers
Very near Arras and main roads

Hotel sits next to an industrial estate although it was the weekend and it was fairly quiet , I'm sure that would'nt be the case during the week .
The appearence of the hotel seemed ok but on reaching the room and entering it , I found there to be a horrible smell , that only seemed to go after repeatedly spraying deodorant and after shave. The room itself was ok for one night (apart from the smell).
Although it stated English speaking staff , I found that was not the case, especially in the restaurant on the evening. The evening meal was ok but I had to ask for an English menu and clearly being English and being given a French menu was'nt helpful to start with.
All in all I will not be booking to stay here again.

Somme Centenary Commeration

My son and I went to the 2016 Somme Centenary Commemoration service at the Thiepval Memorial near Albert. The service was on July 1st 2016 and I wished to remember my Uncle Jimmy lost at the Somme battle on July 1st 1916, so this was quite an emotional visit. We were able to get a reservation through one of the hotel booking sites. We needed a twin room with en-suit facilities. Our family room had a double bed and a single bed, a TV, tea making facilities, free Wi-Fi, a phone and excellent en-suit. The shower was one of the best I've ever experienced – first class. The beds were firm (which I like), clean and well looked after. The room was light and pleasant, it overlooked neat and tidy lawns. The room was made up each day, and fresh towels if you requested. Breakfast was served as a usual Continental breakfast, and was most satisfactory, but the best was the evening meal – an adequate menu to select from with reasonably priced wine. You need to tell Madam that you will be eating in the Restaurant before you leave in the morning. My experience was a very pleasant stay in a typical family run French Hotel. There was sufficient Hotel car-parking. It was a very reasonably priced hotel.
At an emotional time of the Somme Ceremony, it was good to be so well looked after, and come back to a relaxed well prepared evening meal. My son and I really enjoyed our visit – I thoroughly recommend this Hotel, I could not find anything negative about it.

Room was nice, staff friendly and had a free car park. Strange location on an industrial estate however Arras is a two minute drive (2 miles ish). Didn't eat but had coffee and wine... All good. Would go again.

Pleasant suprise

My brothers and I are road tripping around Europe without much of a plan. We booked this motel coming into the town as it was cheap. We got a room with a single and Queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Small rooms but very clean and by the looks of it, newly refurbished. The shower is a waterfall shower which was nice. The beds are clean and comfortable. There are sufficient enough power points and the staff speak enough English to accommodate us.
