You'll never know unless you stay AND eat here

The location of the hotel was easy to find....parking is along the hill at the top..wherever you find it. The owner greets you in great English and proceeded to show us thru the door directing us to the room. When you open the door....atleast in room 14....get ready for it....AMAZING! You see the quaint room, see the door to the terrace, proceed outside....the world is your oyster!! SPECTACULAR view!! The room was clean, modern bathroom, still wondering how they got the wardrobe in that room!!
When we checked in we were asked if we would be eating there...SAY YES!! The dinner was 5 star. 3 course meal for 32 euros....presentation was Masterchef worthy....and the taste....OMG good. Our server was great as well. We even ate breakfast here...the view is a must see from the tables. If I lived closer it would be a regular local for us. And they have a local market in the town on Friday morning...lovely
Great place to stay at reasonable price with fabulous views.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. This time the service was much better and the rooms have been improved. The views from the hotel rooms are amazing. And the dinner was the best we had on our 2 week trip! Across our cycling group of 6 we had 3 different rooms. The fact is that the hotel is ancient and perched into a hill so it is very quirky but that is part of its charm. It is a great place to stay and we would stay here again.
Amazing lunch!

Three of us all had the duck breast with foie gras "hamburger". It was truly amazing! The service was excellent, the view spectacular and the mousse au chocolat was parfait! We were also very pleasantly surprised by how well the proprietors spoke English and how helpful they were with local sightseeing suggestions . Highly recommend this restaurant.
VIEW!

The view from our room was stunning. The price is fantastic compared to other hotels/b&bs/rentals in the area. Yes it is old, yes the floorboards creak, but these add to its charm. Our room was on the top floor with private balcony and an updated bathroom. The full body shower was lovely, and perfect for cooling off after a hot July day without getting your hair wet. We brought a pizza back one night and sat on our balcony watching the sunset with a bottle of wine. Wifi was spotty, and would have been a concern if we were there for more than 2 nights as we rely strongly on the internet to do local research. I have a feeling that it gets better the closer to the lobby your room is. Parking is easy to find in town, but do keep in mind that parking along the panoramic stretch the hotel is on is at a premium and you may have to park a couple blocks down the hill. The hotel is a short stroll away from some great restaurants, including it's own.
Friendly gem with amazing views

We really loved our stay and were utterly charmed by the female concierge and wowed by the views.
This is a budget option, no doubt, but clean, quiet, and a cut above in terms of amenities (there was climate control and toiletries, plus a private bathroom, & we wished we'd tried the restaurant, which looked very good and also had terrific views).
We found the town quite dead, though understandable for a Monday in late April with the mistral blowing, and don't plan on easy public transport.
But we look forward to returning in the high season with a car!
