rundown hotel, rooms very small, carpet smells, but great location! Night Market Beside it, Shopping Opposite the hotel! breakfast was delicious! if you got room facing the canal, free shows at evenings. buskers will be there. lift was a little slow, they had only 1 lift.

The hotel was conveniently located, right beside the night market and only a few blocks from the bus depot. The room was not what we had booked in terms of size and bedding spaces, which was a disappointment. The breakfast was simple and filling and the cooks were kind - they made a special breakfast for my mother when they noticed her having trouble with the local dishes.

The hotel is just a short walk from Miaokou Night Market. Bus stop to Jinguashi and Jiufen is nearby. Keelung Train Station and the Kuokuang Bus Terminal are slightly further (about 10-15 minutes walk). The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions. The condition of our room was good and it was clean and tidy.

i booked 2 rooms for 1 night stay. the location is great, very near to the keelung night market n a famous steamboat (qian ye).
the room condition are poor, wet walls, wallpaper on the window side got fungus, carpets with dusty & stuffy smell, bath tub for both rooms are yellowish (which u definitely won't want to sink urself into it), hairdryer full with grey colour dust/dirt... feel really disgusting to sleep here. luckily we just booked for 1 night.

After viewing through reviews of this hotel in tripadvisor, I google the hotel up and found their website http://huaduhotelkeelung.com . I booked and paid in full last night at their website which direct me to some sort of a payment system named 'Reseliva'.Today I called up the hotel just to add more booking only to be told that no such booking is found and asked me to contact reseliva. From the phone conversation, the hotel staff (sounded like elder aunties talking in hokkien) did not bother to check & interrupted me and asked me to check with reseliva. I might have been scammed some money but the hotel staff need to have some manners even if she is an elderly lady. I am not sure what to do right now. The reseliva hotline is a number from Turkey. Wish me luck.
