Great little hotel chosen because of its location to the various ski resorts close by.
We booked one of the modern rooms and it was perfect for our needs, nicely decorated and with great views across to Zugspitze. We appeared to be the only English speaking guests but this was not a problem and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The waitresses all worn traditional dress but with many variations and twists – it was lovely to see their beautiful costumes every evening. The hotel doubles up as a restaurant to outside guests and the food is excellent. We ate in the conservatory which was nice and warm with pretty candle lights.
The hotel does have a car park but this is at the bottom of the hill at the back of the hotel which may prove steep for some. There is limited and time restrictive parking at the front but it’s only really useful for dropping off. There is a very good ski hire shop right next to the hotel.
Overall, would definitely go back and there is plenty of ski options in the area.
