The Hyatt Regency in Belgrade is a good hotel that's located in New Belgrade. It's situated on the opposite side of the bridge of old town, so if you like to walk, it's a bit away from the main attractions of the city.
The room was updated with modern finishes, except the bathrooms, which showed signs of age. However, everything else at the hotel was pretty good. The service was good overall, their gym and spa were both well equipped, and the breakfast buffet included many options.
Overall, a very comfortable stay, but wish the hotel were a bit closer to old town.

On the positive side, the room is spacious, and tables are set far apart. On the negative side: (1) Deserts look appealing but taste ordinary. (2) In the absence of checkroom, guests fold their outer garments (coats, etc.) over chairs. (3) I asked one waitress, in Serbian, whether a checkroom was available. She said it was, and promised to take our two coats there. She never did it although the guests were few, and business was light. At departure, I said to the other waitress, also in Serbian, that checkroom was necessary. She said nothing about its availability.

One can see that he/she came into a five star hotel, lobby is quite impressive, but everything seems a little bit outdated. Rooms are large, but the air conditioning is not as silent that one would expect from a five star hotel.
Still, bed and linen are excellent, breakfast also, service as it should be - so still - a pleasant experience.

we arrived on the 9th of Nov, 2017 and we stayed for 2 nights.We stayed in room No.722 that was a club room. guests of club rooms if want to eat breakfast in main restaurant must pay 7euros for each person. We went there on the 2nd day and after signing the bill in the restaurant and when existing, the woman in charge asked us whether we paid the deposit when arriving. although my responded that we have paid it, she stopped us for 5 minutes to check it in reservation desk. It was not a professional conduct and I really got annoyed. I have travelled to more than 50 countries in the world and have never seen such a disrespect. I guess the hotel managers have to investigate this issue carefully, since this kind of bahaviours can harm the brand and trust of customers.

Ivana and Jovanna were particularly nice. What you'd expect of a Hyatt, although a bit if a drive to downtown.
The concierge was useless, but we were referred to a gide, Tonya, who was excellent.
Indoor swimming pool. Good food and service.
Really enjoyed Belgrade.
Be sure to have the Moscow Cake at the Moscow Hotel.
