Great property for Business and Pleasure travel

The hotel lives up to the Hyatt standard. The staff are professional, friendly and willing to assist however they can. The restaurant on site is good and convenient. If you wish to go out you're a short 5-10 min. ride to a large selection of off-site restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

It was a very nice hotel. The food was average both at our banquet and in the restaurant. Had issues with the checking and checkout process. We explained everything to the reservation clerk but it was still a mixup which needs to be solved.

Second, and last, visit

bluebird1313 on 13/11/2017 17:22

I first stayed here in 2014, and my memory of the place must have been affected by my memories of the rest of my first trip to Denver (which was fantastic). I should have read my previous review before deciding to stay here again.

In 2014 I noted that the hotel was outdated and very brown. That is still very true, but it was worse in my second stay. The hallways are all brown and very ugly. Only the lobby and elevators feel at all modern. This time around I had a small room with an ugly view of the parking garage. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. The shower did not drain well. The chair at the desk was so old that the fabric in the seat was worn down to the point it became smooth and slippery. This room at least had a fridge and coffee supplies (these were lacking in my previous stay). The room was cold and difficult to warm up. I had to crank the heater just to get the room to a comfortable cool temperature. The worst part was that there's no fitted sheet on the bed, merely a flat sheet over the mattress and another flat sheet to cover the blanket. Perhaps that's standard practice for low-aspiring hotels. My next hotel (obviously not a Hyatt) had a properly made bed and I actually felt human sleeping in it. No one wants to make contact with a hotel mattress, especially not for close to $200 a night.

I had forgotten about how I'd felt ignored by the staff in my previous trip. This time around, I only had a short interaction during check out but it was cold and impersonal, feeling very scripted. The young lady explained the two options for parking (garage or valet) and their respective prices, then stared mutely at me until I had to ask if something was wrong. She had intended for me to tell her which option I preferred. It was very robotic. To be honest, I'm not even sure if she smiled at any point.

I have yet to be charged for my stay, days after checkout, even though I was charged for parking. I spent several frustrating minutes on the phone with the hotel earlier this morning to try to find out what's going on. After being put on hold, my call was picked up repeatedly and then placed back on hold with no acknowledgement. I could hear the ambient noise and other people speaking to (I assume) guests at the front desk, but no one was speaking to me. This happened several times before the call was disconnected altogether, forcing me to call back and repeat my request. I was finally transferred to some accountant's voicemail where I left a message.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. I certainly won't be back.

Big disappointment

I’m sitting in my small hotel room listening to the people next door talking in quiet voices and I can hear everything they are saying.
I had to clean out the bathtub drain this morning before I could take a shower as it was clogged with the previous guest’s very dark hair. That’s a first for me and I’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in some real dumps!
The mattress is quite lumpy and feels sad.
I’m thinking about joining in on the conversation next door.
The lobby is majestic though, so if you don’t mind staying in a hotel
with paper thin walls and nasty bathrooms and like a huge lobby this is the place for you.
I’m still irked out by the shower drain and I’m still listening to my neighbors.
