Just returned from a 2 night pre-cruise stay and a 1 night post-cruise stay at this very well located hotel.
There was a body builders competition happening during our visits which made for very interesting people watching in the large lobby. Also enjoyed sitting outside in the back looking for ( and finding!) the manatees. Even saw one mother iwith a baby by her side!
The pool area is well kept and the water is heated too a very comfortable temperature.
Easy walking distance to the new Brickell City Centre with a large Apple Store as well as many other high end stores. Still many more to open in the future.
Whole Foods was very popular and around the corner , within a 5 minute walk of this large hotel.
Both rooms we stayed in were both very large and well kept.
Breakfast buffet was serving hot and cold choices, with fresh fruits and a nice assortment of nuts including shelled pistachio nuts.
One of the best attributes of this hotel is the front desk staff, specifically Shelbie and Caprice, who made us feel like very welcome guests! Thank you very much!
We look forward to our next visit in February !

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and at $300 a night I'm embarrassed I wasted my money here. I had booked to return before I leave Miami but after staying this last weekend I would absolutely never come back. The elevators got stuck twice. The rooms were old and out dated as well as a tub I would expect to see in a Motel6. The sink was broken or clogged and didn't drain properly. Aside from the buffet which was great and the housekeeping that was very friendly and pleasant this hotel doesn't deserve to hold the Hyatt name.

This is Not a luxury hotel. This is a standard hotel with luxury rates. Lobby looks nice but the rooms are humid and the one light in the vanity lights up the whole room so if you're planning on going to sleep or sleeping in while someone gets ready or brushes their teeth, you can't. You can hear every bit of sound when anyone shuts their door or speaks loudly in your hallway. I only stayed here because I had to for a convention. There are other hotels nearby that offer a better price for probably the same thing.

Hotel location is great but rooms are outdated and in need of refresh. Beds were uncomfortable, I actually had to turn my mattress all the way around to try to find evenness on it. Hotel staff was very friendly on all their restaurants and room service. Additionally hotel parking is a long walk from main lobby as parking is part of the convention center.Overall would stay again if I had to but will not be my first choice.

My friends, their 3 year old daughter, 10 month old son and I checked into my room where I observed a naked middle aged woman eating fried chicken in my bed. Apparently she was a "squatter" either way, stay someplace else.
