I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais recently for 5 nights while attending a conference in Nice.
The hotel is really lovely and in a fantastic location. It's right on the Promenade des Anglais and easily accessible to everything. It's a short stroll into the town centre and many restaurants, cafés, shops and sightseeing sights.
Check in was easy. I was upgraded to a sea view room and had a lovely view looking out towards the ocean, across the hotel pool and outdoor verandah. The staff were friendly. The concierge was helpful and recommended local places to dine, including a fantastic crepe restaurant.
Overall I would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Overall, I'd rate this hotel a 4/5.
Rooms: The rooms were nice. We had two rooms, each standard level. They could use a little updating, but everything was very clean.
Lobby: The lobby was great. High end.
Breakfast: The buffet was excellent. Wide variety of foods.
Location: Nice is a beautiful city. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. Also, if you turn left out of the hotel, you will find the main restaurant street a few blocks down on your left. There are tons of great places to eat.
Pool: didn't use it but looks very nice

We stayed in many hotels all over the world. What makes really difference is the way you are welcome, cared by hotel team. Hyatt Regency Nice it is class of his own. Great team of people who are very kind and happy to make you feel better than in your own home. Rooms are nice. Wifi works. Great view on sea side or mountains (we had two rooms). This view on the city and mountains is as good and breathtaking as that one on the sea side. Hotel team speaks several languages. They are shown as flags on their name titles. Breakfast very good. Fantastic omlets (greetings to the lady making it). Location superior - best part of the Promenade. Great Hotel.

I had the most amazing stay! I was surprised with a beautiful cake for my birthday in my room. The service was impeccable. Joanna from the bar gave us amazing recommendations for clubs and bars in the area and Antonio the concierge gave us a wonderful recommendation to a restaurant which we all enjoyed thoroughly. The customer service was second to none and this regency is a perfect example of why Hyatt is so successful. Thankyou to everyone who made my birthday one to remember!

Loved the hotel and the location was perfect! Hotel restaurant was delicious and priced the way you would expect. The only problem was the concierge wasn’t helpful at all. One of them seemed to not want to assist me at all and the one who was nice didn’t know very much and the best one o my worked one day while we were there. My husband was ill the first day we were there and I️ spoke to the concierge at least three times about a doctor or pharmacy and all he did was tell me where the pharmacy was it wasn’t until day three that this new concierge was working that we got the doctor to come to the hotel. If only the concierge on the first 2 days would have given me this option we would have had a better stay. It was very irritating! I wish knew the name of the concierge that helped me but pretty sure that the main guy was the most rude and not helpful at all.
