Having stayed here frequently in the past and left positive reviews, I feel obligated to review again as things have gone down hill considerably since the last review.
Arrived for a three day stay---
As a Hyatt Globalist, the hotel is suppose to be automatically upgraded to the "best room available including upgrading to a suite". So when we received a very small room with a view of the highway, I assumed that the hotel was booked. (Certainly not the case, as was verified the next morning as the hotel has tremendously low occupancy during our stay--I can see why)
Room was dingy and did not appear well cleaned upon arrival.
Did not have adequate towels--got extra from housekeeping.
I woke up in the middle of the night to the sensation of bugs crawling on my skin...which ended up being the linens...
Sheets were ABSOLUTELY unacceptable--torn,frayed, and stained....attempted to get them changed EACH day, even speaking to the "desk manager"
This was not accomplished during our stay.
Upon check out I presented the sheet to the desk manager who gave a significantly less than satisfactory response -- I am not a crazy or demanding person, but honestly what does it take to get someone's attention??
If this was the "best" they have to offer to a premium guest, I would hate to see what the room and service was like for a regular customer.
Hotel is quite dated, service was poor, and management unresponsive to basic request.
Won't be back and wouldn't recommend

I stay here fairly often. Full service hotel. Good dining across the street (a busy street though). Convenient to I-75 and Cityline. Room service was very prompt, and the quesadilla was good. Gym is OK too. Very good breakfast bar, might be pricey for some.

Hotel itself was dated...okay, but just didn't feel as nice as a Hyatt Regency should. My truck was one of eleven(!) that was broken into the night I stayed there. Hotel's security didn't see or hear anything and with the poor lighting and no security cameras in the parking lot that doesn't surprise me much...at least they had a good excuse. Disappointed in their attitude and the way they handled it. That along with the overall lack of investment in this property will make me look for other places to stay next time I have to book a hotel in this part of Dallas. Disappointed, since normally Hyatt Regency's have a higher standard than most hotels that I've stayed at.

Great hotel at a fair price. We love the location and it's one of the best deals we've had in a long time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. They also have coffee in the room. We will stay there again.

I had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The amenities were great and the location was awesome. We didn't have to leave the block for anything except going to the mall for shopping. I will definitely stay here again.
