My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights last week. The hotel is undergoing some renovations and the room we had appeared to be recently renovated. The room was clean and stylish. And they have plenty of convenient ports for your electronics, so that's a good thing.
There are some issues when it comes to service. Check-in took forever, the people at the front desk seemed to have issues getting their computers to work. I saw them struggling with their computers other times I was by the desk too.
Once we got to our room we noticed we had no luggage stand for the room so I contacted the front desk to request one. They said that would be no problem but it never showed up. I requested again the following day and the same experience happened. And yet again on Friday. Finally on Saturday they followed through. It took four days and requests every day before they took care of it.
The fitness room is also totally unacceptable. I generally don't have high expectations for hotel fitness rooms as they're clearly designed by people who don't work out, but this one is pathetic. It was two treadmills, one elliptical, a few medicine balls and an exercise ball crammed into a regular hotel room -- headboards for the beds still mounted to the wall. It was small, dirty and not well equipped. I expect more from a Hyatt.
I was also surprised they don't have a spa facility. I would think as a major hotel in a destination like Sonoma wine country they would have that.
Net-net, it's a clean, well-designed hotel that needs some work on their customer service and amenities.

We had advanced reservations for a room with two beds and when we showed up at the hotel we were told they had only rooms that had one bed. We were given a rollaway for the second bed. This made for a very uncomfortable stay and we had to pay the rate for the two bed room .

Front desk spends all day apologizing to guests; never got the replacement iron I requested; I booked a non connecting room; was originally given a connecting one; they let a conference host take a 2nd floor room, move out the bed, and bring in a DJ to host a party - NOT very considerate of guests in adjoining rooms. I wasn't able to use the 2 free nights I received when signing up for their Visa; also couldn't use them at the Napa Andaz Hyatt so I wondering if these are good only for offseason weeknights.

Last week we had a wine event in Dry Creek Valley, but this time we decided to spend the night, rather than drive home. Though the Hyatt is undergoing an expansion, noise and debris were not an issue. The outdoor jacuzzi was hot, and our room was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good, offering an array of baked goods and smoked salmon. We will return.

This was the perfect site for a wine blogger's conference. We had great access to lots of restaurants, the service was excellent and the rooms were beautiful. I really enjoyed the lobby space, it was a great place to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.
