this was recommended by a friend who we trusted-she was right - it is a older establishment but very cozy and clean and everything we needed at a very convenient location. The Staff was kind and friendly and could not do enough for us.
we have been staying there same time every year for the past 4 years!

Primo accessibility to major South Jersey Shore landmarks / attractions south of A.C.
We Would Know, that this would be a Nice “Base” for a family’s explores, for a few days. Clean interior. Quiet premises. Grill and pool areas on grounds. 1 story walk up at most; Most ground level. 2 Double Beds. Comfortable mattresses with 8 scrumptious pillows. Clean Fridge, Oven, Cooking Stove, Microwave. Very accommodating front desk staff. Nostalgia reigned for us, being transplanted South Jersey folks. In Sept.,For two days, Visiting Stone Harbor for a H.S. Mini-Reunion & Caught a morning fishing Excursion in Avalon. Of course, Not a Hilton, nor does it purport to be. Imagine your folks running an older Motel off the beaten path. Clean, Quiet, Relaxing “shut-eye” afforded.

I found them on their website. We were just going down to New Jersey as a surprise to some family members. So I booked this hotel. Convenient parking right outside your door, lovely barbeque/eating area and beautiful pool. The room was very comfortable, with a full-size fridge and microwave and coffeepot. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. One of the older custodians welcomed us and even gave us a discount voucher for our next visit. The only drawback was a common door for 2 units. So when they slammed their door, we heard it.

We have stayed at The Hyland many times.....it is aprivate clean comfortable motel Very centrally located to the beach ...Tj Maxx/Marshalls/Pier one....Great zoo....the Wildwoods and Cape May....what we really like is that we can park ....5 feet from our room....the rooms are modestly decorated with clean bedding....tile bathroom floors and shower....if you are looking for a glamorous hotel...this is prob not for you....but if you want a clean, affordable convient room with full refridge...microwave...Tv ..cable and free WiFi....and a Gorgeous 50 foot immaculate private swimming pool...This is the place....the staff is very friendly and helpful...nice people....we have stayed from 1 star-5star hotels...this is one of our favorites!

Staff was nice, room had 2 beds, fold out couch and coffee table, kitchen with 2 fridges and coffee maker. They gave us a list of bars and restaurants in the area when we checked in. Small wooded area with picnic tables for lunch was nice too. Overall, very happy with the two nights we spent there.
