What People are saying

very convenient

We had a two-night stay here. It was very comfortable and very convenient. We did not eat in but this looked ok. We would definitely consider staying again as a stop-over. It is not in the centre of Rennes so a car is necessary.

Nice 1 night stay

We booked here for an overnight stay on our way back from Disneyland Paris. Pretty difficult to find at first as it is down lots of little tiny residential roads and is tucked back at the end of a dead end.
The reception staff were very good and coped with our limited understanding of French!
We had requested 2 inter-connecting rooms which were provided. Very simple check in.
Rooms had 3 single beds, a tv telephone and small bathroom with sink, toilet and bath with hand held shower + a hair dryer, soap, towels, shower gel/shampoo etc.
Beds were comfortable and clean. No tea and coffee tray in the room but there is free facilities for making tea and coffee (along with biscuits) in the reception area which you can take back to your room.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was temporarily closed for evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets within 10 minutes drive.
We did not have the breakfast as wanted to make an early start in the morning so drove to a nearby supermarche for croissants to eat in the car.
Overall, a pleasant stay and would certainly stay again.

Good price

Basic but reasonably comfortable hotel in a quiet area of Rennes near the University. A car is essential if you want to stay here and there is plenty of parking available. The room and bathroom were small but the price was good. Staff were helpful. Our only complaint was there were no screens on the windows and no other ventilation in the rooms. Each time we opened the window we had moths flying in. Otherwise, we felt we were getting what we paid for.

Great value. Very good restaurant.

We were traveling through France and opted to stay at this hotel for one night as we were passing through the area. The room was small but tidy. Everything we needed for a good night was available. The restaurant was very good.

Impressive

We booked this hotel for the two nights we were staying in Rennes. We chose it because the postcode was very near to the friends we were visiting. It looked nice on the website photo and we were not disappointed. Reception were great - very helpful. The room was smallish but very clean and nicely, recently decorated and, at our request, non-smoking. There were also extra pillows provided. Even more important in winter there was an individual, room-controlled radiator.
The bathroom too was impeccable and there was another heater there too. We were not bothered about getting hot drinks etc., but if we had been we would have preferred them to be available in the room and not where they are in the reception area. The free parking was great-just by the entrance to the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice of food. We were impressed with the hotel and thought it very good value for money.
