We had a view room and it was worth paying the extra price for it to sit out on the balcony as the sun went down with a glass of wine.
The room itself had adequate room and it was very clean.
Hotel staff were attentive and helpful when asked.
Breakfast is superb.
The elevator situation is weird due to the way the hotel is kind of recessed above and over other buildings. This requires you to use up to 3 elevators to reach your room. Internet was intermittent. Also, the hot tub on the roof top is pretty small for the size of the hotel.
Despite these somewhat minor issues with the physical facility, I would recommend the hotel.

The price is too high comparing the comfort of the rooms (sounds from other rooms and hallways in several rooms: economic as superior rooms! We stayed in an economic room 110 and 112 with sounds early in the morning. We payed for upgrade too room 506 with noices/sounds from the neighbors rooms.

I stayed in La Perouse for 3 nights. It is truly a great boutique hotel, beautiful designed environment, good room space, beautiful view just beside the sea, quiet in evening, very well trained professional and cheerful staffs, recommended and helping me arrange all day tours and restaurants. Location just walking distance from old town.
Definitely I will stay in this hotel again if visit Nice next time.

This hotel is right opposite to the #ILoveNice landmark where it has a full panorama sea view. I regretted not booking the full sea view room in the first place and upon check-in did not like my superior room (a normal room with no sea view) and asked for the sea view room and they did not have availability. They only have a junior suite with a hefty add-on price as it is a few room categories up. Since I arrived late, out for a full-day tour on the second day, I just opted for the junior suite for my last night of stay and pampered myself with what I expected from Nice. The junior suite (room 310) has panoramic sea view with 3 windows and two terraces. Though I was not happy when I checked in as I expected being the highest level of SLH membership, I will stand a good chance to get a nicer room, I understand room assignment is subject to availability and sea view rooms are selling like hot cakes. Anyway, staff were very helpful & friendly, thank you!

We love Nice and could think of nowhere better in October to spend a few days for our honeymoon. We decided to stay at this hotel as there was the option for sunbathing should we be lucky enough to get good weather which we did! We booked a superior double room but weren't quite sure what to expect as the picture on the website were not very specific. We were allocated a room overlooking the patio restaurant and if you peeped over the small balcony, a small sea view. The room was adequate albeit quite small. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with shower over the bath. It was a room easily forgettable but ok. The hotel is a labarinth of corriders and if you get the chance to sneak a peep through open doors will see all the rooms are different! It took 3 lifts to get to the terrace but this was the highlight of the hotel with spectacular views over Nice and the sea. Plenty of sun loungers and towels but nothing to drink or a bar service. Pool area was nice but only accessible via the restaurant so be careful what you wear! Breakfast was ok although not restocked quickly enough.i would come back here for the terrace but not anything else.
